Agreed with TIM, a bit lacking in the identity department. 7 of the 10 songs here re-appear on 'Crunch' a few years later and for a few dollars cheaper. The only tracks unique to this release are 'I Am The Beatles Cover', 'It Ain't Enough' and 'Wings'.

| Cool band and if they had come onto the scene a little earlier, then they 'might' have seen some success, but alas, Nirvana and MTV took care of that at the start of the 90's. I saw this band live and they were great.

| After all the hype I heard about this release, I was a little let down when I finally picked it up. There was nothing that stood out from a lot of the bands in this genre. Don't get me wrong, it is a good release but it didn't live up to the hype. I haven't listened to their second release yet but I'll probably check it out.

| i dont want to offend anybody´s taste but i didn´t like this one. Boring songs, i dont like the voice, the chorus seem out of tune sometimes , a waste of time and money. Avoidable

| Like it was stated earlier, the song arrangement on this disc is quite boring compared to the Crunch album and with contains 3 different songs (and better) but nevertheless, it's good to have both in your collection.

| A stripped down bare-bones version of "Crunch" minus a few tunes.Production is raw,but sounds very good.The guitar parts are totally different than that of "Crunch" and alot of fun to listen to-kinda VH-ish sounding although at times a tad too low in the mix.Steve McKnight has some nice chops.Thinkin' these guys should've scrapped "Red Shoes" and "Dirty Dog Night" on Crunch'and put "Wings" and "It Ain't Enough" on there.The Beatles cover is quite good as well.This "ST"(Jap release) is fairly pricey but worth tracking down if you dig these guys. --

| Plain and simple album shamely,some more or less interesting moments but nothing to kill for..."West Wind Blows" is catchy,"It Ain't Enough" is quite a goodie,"I Am The Walrus" is an horrible interpretation of the original song by The Beatles,"Face Down In The Wishing Well" is pretty cool..then the "best" are "Pretender","Stop,Look And Listen","Long Hard Road" which is a nice acoustic track & "Back To You" being the most solid song in the album...this is the kind of album that you enjoy a bit but then put it in the bag of rememberances..80/100

| Laughing at the first comment on here that this album was bland compared to their follow up. Six of the songs on this album are also on the second album, with only four of the songs on this one being unique. Not quite sure how four songs make all the difference.

| @CC Time to stop laughing and starting listening to this debut vs. the "Crunch follow up. With your logic of the same song title = exact same song, WHITESNAKE would have never had their biggest hit in the 80's 'Here I go again", which was originally released in 1982 by the band. Then it was revamped (new arrangements,beefed up production) on "1987" S/T and the rest is history.

| EH? What the fuck are you talking about. They may have been re-records but they are still the same fucking songs. Here I go again is still Here I go again. Same tune, same lyrics just a slightly different take. One fucking word got changed. This album and their debut have so little difference between the songs, how can you say they are not the same songs?

| @123charpenay, do you speak CC's native tongue? Please act as a mediator. My previous comment refers to "Laughing" at the first comment, second comment, and others with the same point of view. What makes it a laughing matter? There are endless bands that have released EP's/indie/demos that carry over 4-5-6 multiple tracks to their next album release (usually a major label debut). This Cry Wolf -S/T was a Japan import release so they where still obscure in the States/Europe. Songs with demo-indie quality to big production can make a night and day difference. Just as a band can do a 'cover' of another band and make that song their own. Same track title/lyrics doesn't = been there, done that.

| hello metallian.i m french i don t think that cc is french like me.it s very nice to think to me, for being a mediator,but sorry friends ,i can t help you cause i don t know cry wolf ,i ve never listen their music.i ve some difficulties to understand the problem between you and cc.it s seem nothing serious.keep cool friends and continue to listen good music.like fighter v for example.greetings from france.
