Love this album! And you will too if you like any one of the following: Slyboyz, Biloxi, Savannah, Intruder, Prophet. As soon as 'Highway To Tomorrow' kicks in, you'll know you've got a winner and that whatever you purchased this CD for was money well spent. A very classy keyboard-driven New Jersey AOR CD indeed!

Hey koogles, have you heard Work Force S/T? One seller said they sound like a cross between LeRoux and Diving For Pearls. I know about Diving For Pearls but I don't know the other band.

I wasn't entirely convinced by Work Force but then again, I haven't heard it in awhile. It's more along the lines of Survivor on an off day. As for LeRoux, I've only heard 'So Fired Up' with Fergie Frederiksen and it's your standard basket of early 80s AOR. Cool high vocals but not enough kick-ass material to showcase the sizeable talents of the Trillion/Toto man.

I agree with Koogles This is an excellent example of melodic rock with pomp overtones. The best track for me is Running. What a riff!!! The band slayed live but are unfortunately no more. Buy this if you see it-you won't be disappointed.

I'm with Koogles on this one too, awesome stuff. Better than 'In the Line of Fire' the fairly weak follow-up, and marginally better than the excellent 'Sea of Desire'. A very unique 'layered' sound that I haven't heard much before, but barely a duff tune on the thing. Excellent, and becoming quite rare...

An Awesome Aor cd. In the line of Fire was actually their 3rd Cd (4th if you include the 'Live in London' Cd). Forget the Rain was the follow up and a very different sounding Cd it was too. This and Sea of Desire are indispensible.

Awesome album, the pomp of 'What Happened To Love' and 'Broken Promises' drives me crazy every time I listen to it. If you like this album check out these: Prophet - s/t Robby Valentine - s/t & The Magic Infinity Marathon - The First Run Their 'In The Line Of Fire' CD has some wonderful pompous moments too but was overlooked by the crap they released before named 'Forget The Rain'

I don't know how to feel about this album. I really enjoy a lot of songs here, but the production and the vocals are really poor. This one's got to be the most 80's Hard Rock album of the 90's. I like it though. 7/10

Tim I know this is an old post...2 yesrs old, but I just have to comment here. Commenting on someones ability to spell right or write in proper english is usually considered very rude. I am danish, My english spelling sucks, which Im not really proud of. But I can make myself understandable in another language, and can do so in German, English, and nordic languages. Which languages can you make yourself understandable in.? Back to the music. This is a very solid release. I kinda like it.8/10 fro

Very Good Melodic Hard Rock/AOR, un muy buen album donde What Happens to Love, Broken Promises, Running son lo mejor del repertorio pero en si todos los cortes tiene su gusto es uno de esos albums que sin ser grandes cumplen como debe de ser para todo amante de estos grandes estilos asi que no lo perdais 8.5/10

What we have here is five very talented musicians. This disc and Sea Of Desire are amazing works. In The Line Of fire is also very good. Check out the two Intruder albums also. These guys play with George Karak another huge talent. To bad they are no more, great stuff.

excellent hard rock release by SHOTGUN SYMPHONY just right when the glory dayz of hard rock were starting to fade little by little.good musicianship,nice songs ,great style is what you get.i guess the only thing thats missing are some killer songs.standout tracks are "goodbye to the night", "she s in love " and "turn around".for me this is excellent

Outstanding release. I first heard this when originally released. I lost my copy years ago and just picked it up again on ebay. Wow. Pure AOR magic and still relevant today. A very strong recommendation.

Not bad, but all in all useless. OK AOR, nice vocals, but most songs are boring and the production is powerless.

Perfect melodic hard rock. Catchy tunes, memorable songs + melodies. No filler can be found. Saw them live in UK at the Gods Of Aor. Fantastic band, fantastic release. Must have for any serious collector.
