finally listed here at heavy harmonies-great!the best album of german cult band featuring michael voss (later in casanova and demon drive).if you like songs in the style of dokken/icon with great lead vocals and powerful backings this is the one for you.the japan-cd is mega-rare.there is also a rerelease available from german label "point-music" including the bonus tracks "show no mercy" and "can`t stop taking".but the sound is not as good as on the japan-cd.(mix on japan-cd by dan johnson/point

This is one of the best Records of the World, all songs are very Hits!! I never heard that before....1A!!! I love this Stuff......BURNING THE STAGE!!!!!!

From: ROB GARCIA Date: January 21, 2004 at 19:13
OK lets see...those of you who havent got this album in your wants list put this as a priority, cause if you dont youll be missing the chance to listen to one of the most classiest melodic rock albums ever released in the history of this genre.every single song in this album is full of potential to become a hit!.if you want comparisons then imagine if you will a mixture of bonfire"fireworks" with casanovas"one night stand" well does it sound good enough or what!?.BUY OR DIE.

From: Vito Date: September 30, 2004 at 22:58

From: IOSU Date: November 8, 2004 at 14:44

From: Manolo (Snake) Date: November 19, 2004 at 3:41

From: Sergio Date: November 19, 2004 at 22:44

From: Firesoul Date: November 20, 2004 at 5:50
Para quien quiera compartir recuerdos y opiniones , paladion@hotmail.com Firesoul The hard is may soul, the Rock is my heart.

reissued sound quality suck....bonus tracks ok.

From: Geoff Date: January 4, 2005 at 5:48
This is a little more like the Voss I know and love. Here we have a more melodic attempt and this is some damn good stuff. The sound is not perfect, but the album is very good and all fans of the mighty Voss should check it out. Good solid melodic hard rock.

From: Rocker76 Date: January 4, 2005 at 6:08
I remember having a copy of the reissue and there being a skip in the 1st track 'Burning the Stage.' Yet, there wasn't a scratch or blemish on the disc itself. It was as if it was in the music itself maybe when being transferred to disc. Anybody else run across that??

From: Geoff Date: January 4, 2005 at 6:52
Hey Rocker76 - I ordered the CD from AOR Heaven when it came out there and before the order was processed Georg kindly informed me that there was that blemish in the recording and asked if I still wished to purchase it. I still did, but do not despair. It is a fault in the actual CD and not just your copy.

From: Rocker76 Date: January 4, 2005 at 11:04
Hey Geoff, does yours mess up between 2-3 minutes into 'Burning the Stage'? Thanks & rock on

From: Geoff Date: January 4, 2005 at 18:48
Indeed, to be exact around the 2:26 mark of the song. It's a small shame, but it's still a great CD and I just remembered how cool that first track is - awesome riff! Cheers.

Great Hard/AOR album, El mejor de la banda sin duda y mas porque aca tienen ese toque de Hard/AOR que busco, la mas DEMOLEDORA de todas Hearts On Fire (un Corte Brutal como me gustan asi son los temas que busco en bandas con este estilo), Wild And Seventeen, Night Of Passion, Starcrossed Lovers, los bonus can't stop talking y show no mercy son tambien buenos, otros de esos discos Imprescindibles en tu coleccion.

From: pereira Date: October 3, 2005 at 17:21

SUBLIME ALBUM DEL MEJOR METAL DE TODA LA VIDA!!! this is probably one of the geatest metal albums in all history!!!

From: metalhead4life Date: November 7, 2006 at 23:23
Mine has the skip in the first song too - they all are probably liek that. Good melodic rocker to own.

From: aceisback Date: September 17, 2007 at 5:56
I own the very rare japanese pressing. No skips on there. Plus the fact that it has a different and much better mix/sound quality. The Point-Music re-release sounds awful.

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: October 5, 2007 at 0:09

From: metalhead4life Date: June 24, 2008 at 12:26
Voss has a good voice and this one is full of catchy hard rock gems from that era. I rate it a 87/100.

From: sandro cro Date: June 10, 2009 at 8:08
great album-neoromantic melodic hard rock(roko,sargant fury,casanova style)-must have

From: rick kerch vzla Date: June 11, 2011 at 16:54
Their best undoubtebly!!!...or at least the most complete one in their career(musically and in composition)...the album opens with 3 rocking tracks "Burning The Stage","Wait For The Night" & "Dive Through The Sky","Wild And Seventeen" is a good shot,"Hearts On Fire" & "Night Of Passion" both of AOR feel...the re-dition brings 2 great bonus tracks:"Show No Mercy" & "Can't Stop Talking"...recommended album...90/100
