Dance with the Devil is awesome...A little darker than the ones that came after this...Glenn Hughes rules on all the songs, excellent keyboard and guitar sounds.

JODER Q POCOS COMENTARIOS PARA ESTA PIEZA CLAVE DE LO MELODICO. CREO Q ES UNO DE LOS DISCOS Q MEJOR SE HAN PARIDO SOBRE LA FAZ DE LA TIERRA, JUNTO CON DOWN FOR THE COUNT (Y&T), WALK IN THE FIRE (STRANGEWAYS) Y RAISED ON RADIO (JOURNEY).Q DECIROS MAS.MELODIA MAGICA POR TODAS PARTES,TECLADOS ENVOLVENTES, AIRE OCHENTERO, PODER Y COMO NO UN PODER VOCAL DESCOMUNAL. MAS RECOMENDADO Q LA OSTIA, PEGARE A QUIEN NO SE LO COMPRE. PHENOMENA RULES!!AH Y EL 2 Y EL 3 NO TIENEN NADA Q HACER AL LADO DEL PRIMERO.

TUVE ESTE DISCO ALLA POR EL 88 Y LA VERDAD QUE ME DECEPCIONO. DEMASIADAS ESTRELLAS PARA TAN POCA IMAGINACION. LOS TEMAS ESTAN MUY BIEN EJECUTADOS, EXCELENTE PRODUCCION, PERO TODO QUEDA AHI. LO QUE SE ESCUCHA AQUI ES MUY PREDECIBLE, Y ESTARIA BIEN PARA BANDAS DE SEGUNDA CLASE, NO PARA TANTOS MONSTRUOS. SOLO UN PAR DE CANCIONES SACUDEN EN PARTE TANTA MEDIOCRIDAD. UNA PENA. 5/10. carro_martin2000@yahoo.com.ar

Very good record, like all Phenomena projects ! Don't hesitate if you don't know this stuff. The talent involved says it all. This can't be bad !

Excellent disc! Sounds like the AOR version of Black Sabbath's Seventh Star, which also featured Glenn Hughes on vocals and was released the following year. 'Still The Night' was re-recorded on John Norum's Face The Truth album, with Glenn on vocals also.

Never heard this before, hate the drum sound but overall it's pretty damn good. I like Hughes vox when he's not screaming too much.

One of the best releases Glenn Hughes ever made! Check out the remake of "Still the Night" on John Norum`s Face the Truth album. To this day I dont know which version is better.

A killer release of pure hard rock/hard aor with cool guitar playing and very good vocals. Strong songs. My fave are STILL THE NIGHT, PHOENIX RISING and all the rest lol. Any GARY MOORE, WHITESNAKE, MSG or RAINBOW fan should have this release. KILLER!!!!!!!!

Killer album but I´d rather take the second one. The keys are really phantasmagoric: just take a listen at "still the night" and you´ll know what I´m talking about... Don Airey rocks. Some of the melodies though, sound a little bit repetitive if you compare some songs, for example "kiss of fire" and "twilight zone" but that´s not a problem.9/10.

He dicho.

Amazing AOR album!!!. I have to agree totally with CHAMPIONS´Comment and i have to say it again before it gets erased haha!. PHENOMENA´s Style combined synths big importance, very melodic and Aorish guitars, with the most melodic part of the NWOBHM bands, but i feel a little ASIA feeling in some melodic parts (in fact John Wetton would appear in the next phenomena album, with the awesome "Did It All For love")... and what more can i say? "Still The Night" is simply astonishing AOR song!!

Pleasant album...nice catchy songs that easily could satisfy any AOR listener..."Kiss Of Fire","Still The Night","Believe","Who's Watching You" & "Twilight Zone" are the best tracks 4 me...a great list of musicians that contributed on this "first called" project that then turned into a steady one for some more releases...91/100
