very slow, but quiet good anyway

From: PR Date: June 26, 2002 at 6:21
This CD is superb!! Not sure about quiet though. Damage Is Done and Tormented rock. I personally think that the versions of Forever and Still Believe are better than the versions on the 2nd Unruly Child CD. This CD is much heavier than Unruly Child, Signal or Mark free's debut. Great vocals (as usual), big backing vocals, great guitar work from Bruce Gowdy and hard hitting drums. Excellent CD. You can order it from marciefree.com.

From: freddy de keyze Date: August 24, 2002 at 6:04
This is indeed a very good AOR CD and I'm a bit disappointed with the relatively low rating it has. Any real AOR fan should own this one.

No me gusta absolutamente nada! Haber si hace algo nuevo, aunque ara sea Diosa!!

From: JAVIER Date: December 16, 2002 at 4:34

From: Marcio Tex Date: March 26, 2003 at 11:40
Awesome voice! Better yet, one of the most beautiful voice of Rock wide world. 100%!!!

From: Jayglam Date: April 9, 2003 at 6:28
He or she has one of the best voices in melodic rock from King Kobra to Signal to Unruly child to the solo stuff one word - Awesome. Thanks Mark for the many great years from when I was a teenager listening to King Kobra. Jay from Australia.

From: The Axe Machine Date: April 27, 2003 at 18:20
Perhaps this is not Marks greatest album when you put it up there with Signal or Unruly Child, but it is a great album nevertheless. I give this one an 8.5 on the charts....tracks like The Devil Knows Your Name, Forever and Falling are sensational!

From: Marcio Tex Date: May 12, 2003 at 15:34
The best singer I've seen in rock! Awesome!

From: Harvey Date: June 29, 2003 at 11:52
ah, so this is what happened to him/ her! Is this as low-fi as the album he did for the Now and Then label or is it back to Unruly Child/ Signal stuff? Someone tell me the truth b4 i waste my money!

Truly fantastic, I think this may be my favourite of his/her work...it's tough...look at what it's competing with...Signal/King Kobra/ Unruly Child e.t.c. The title track is blinding and worth the price alone. Talk to Myself is another killer song.....ooohhh...which is my fave CD by the chap/chapesse....Nope I can't decide. Grab this though.

There is a song out there called "Paralyzed" by Marcie. Not sure when it was recorded and who for but it is beyond amazing. You must find this track at any cost.

From: z4roxx Date: February 15, 2005 at 9:58
I have the track"paralyzed"download by a friend of mine,yes good one!BTW re-heard this cd,it's good stuff indeed!

From: Paolo Date: February 15, 2005 at 10:12

From: z4roxx Date: February 15, 2005 at 10:32
Grazie Paolo sei gentile,la musica è la mia passione!!Sei Paolo di Tv vero??Fatti sentire tramite e-mail od ebay, aspetto ancora quella lista famosa ok??!!.Grandi gruppi,da buttarsi per terra come dico sempre io!!Forza magico Treviso, andremo in serie A!!!

From: Paolo Date: February 15, 2005 at 10:57

From: z4roxx Date: February 16, 2005 at 11:00

From: Geoff Date: February 27, 2005 at 5:26
Good melodic hard rock disc. I believe this was intended to be the 2nd Unruly Child disc, but for whatever reason it dd not end up that way. It's certainly heavier than the first Unruly Child disc, and IMO the songs are nowhere near as good, even if 'Forever' is one of the best ballads ever recorded and 'Damage is done' is a monster hard rocker. Mark/Marcie sounds awesome, musically it's killer and it's just a great slab of melodic hard rock overall. I wouldn't call it AOR for second though.

z4roxx paolo and other guy is it a good one ? i got it about 10 years ago but i don't remember well i'm searching for the japan issue as the cover on long island is horrible ahaha

From: z4roxx Date: February 27, 2005 at 19:14
Vai tranquillo è ok,gran cd!L ho risentito poco tempo fà,però prendilo Long Island bravo perchè non so col jap se i dupes te lo lasciano per poche lire ahahahaha

From: Lovedrive Date: October 17, 2005 at 5:34

From: Dorothea Date: February 11, 2006 at 18:46
Marcie Free is, no doubt, the best voice on earth!!Her voice is unique!! I love you Marcie xoxoxoxoxo

From: juan carlos Date: August 18, 2006 at 16:31

From: SangreAzulForever Date: September 2, 2006 at 10:00
Sorry but in my humble opinion, the golden years of Mark Free were gone with this album. Changing his sex he also changed his voice a bit and the thing went down. The music is acceptable, but in general I found this release boring. 5/10.

From: KurtmanJP Date: March 3, 2008 at 19:21
I was up on YouTube, searching for Marcie Free music videos when I found her profile. She now has this Pomeranian named Astro and has a song called "Your Wild Ways" on her profile. Makes me think, did she have any other albums?

From: Dorothea Date: March 3, 2008 at 21:32
No, but she has a lot of superior demos, that are JEWELS in the AOR genre.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: February 6, 2010 at 14:35
Proof that a man can cut off his nuts and still be an awesome melodic hard rock vocalist. Feel free to consider this the second Unruly Child album, because that's pretty much what it is, though honestly, it doesn't come close to matching the perfection of the debut. That said, it's still very good melodic hard rock, with lots of slick hooks and polished harmonies, and any fan of the genre certainly won't feel tormented when they listen to it.

From: Dani Darko Date: June 6, 2010 at 7:16
Not the work of art some claim, not a bomb either. It is an average album with great vocals on it. The problem lies on the production: it is thin and souless. With a good production it would be a whole different animal 6/10. 6/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 26, 2011 at 22:54
Despite some bad comments above which i entirely respect,i was not so TORMENTED by this so called (for some) "bad" album of our dear Marcie...in fact without having the spark of any Unruly Child,Signal or King Kobra album or some it is still quite a worthy release IMHO...plenty of good rocking tracks such as "The Devil Knows Your Name","Falling","The Damage Is Done","Tormented"( ) and the nice ones "Forever" & "Still Believe" gives you the sensation that our good old Mark(Marcie, sorry) wanted to put her best in here...a matter of tastes but i really enjoyed this album a lot...89/100

From: titothetitan Date: November 14, 2017 at 8:52
These are Unruly Child demos recorded earlier, during, after the debut album release. The heavier songs were made in response to the Grunge thing.

From: 123charpenay Date: November 14, 2017 at 13:40
absoluty not at the same level of the unruly child s debut album.three songs are really excellent "forever" "the damage is done"(a classic hard f m song playing by others bands) and "unruly child".the other songs ?hum you can forget they sounds a little strange and absoluty don t hooked me.even if mark/marcie free is an excellent singer.

From: Roxas Date: July 24, 2024 at 9:22
I finally found a physical copy for a good price. So glad I actually own it now in CD format.
