It's that time of the year again: The annual donation drive to cover the site expenses for the year. It will run through October 31, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and keeps the lights on.
Thank you for supporting Heavy Harmonies!

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Havana Black CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Havana Black are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

More horrible shit from this talentless band who some how keep finding a way to churn out more shit, all the while being one of the only bands to date that i can honestly say I have not only never heard anyone like them, but on the opposite, anyone i have met who's ever heard them have complained about how shitty and boring they are, it's not just enough that nobody likes them, but everyone who doesn't like them goes out of their way to comment on just how shitty they are, it's never they just don't like them, now that my friends is almost unheard of, you have to suck pretty fucking bad to gain that kind of status!

Rather severe words above, on the other hand, this raw bluesy hard rock will never set the Thames on fire. For me, a lack of melodies, mostly each song is built around one supporting rhythmic motif, which pushes forward other vestige ingredients of the song (southern, funky, alternative vibes...sometimes). For comparison, I'd pick MOUNTAIN or LED ZEPP as prime models and quite close to the music that Y&T made two years after this album. 65/100.

...after some more spins and thanks to the southern moments and the last nice but odd song that reminds me of Robert Plant solo work, I'd add five points more...70/100
