Awesome 3rd album form The Rods. After being dropped by Arista The Rods kept the momentum going with this release. In real terms these are very high live sounding demos but the quality is very high. The songs are hard rocking melodic monsters with the highlights being tracks 1,2,3,5 and 6. This is good old fashioned 80's rock.Rock Feinstein is an excellent gutiarist and Carl Cannedy a great drummer and the musicianship shown throughout is excellent.

my fav Rods, super hard rock release, similar to Y & T and around that same time, Rods were a bit heavier and less catchy but a solid rock album, great stuff!!!

Εxcellent release once again for THE RODS keeping on the street feel in their music & lyrics with great guitar driven anthemic songs like "hurricane","hot city","evil woman" and "go for broke"!great band that made some impact in the early 80s

Just got the Rock Candy release and this is indeed a great album for he fans of no nonsense early 80s hard rock. I already had the other Rods albums so i´m very happy that In the Raw is finally in my hands. Enjoyable stuff!
