Huhh, bad stuff. I expected more from ex-Dioaxeman and Hous of L.-singer. This is poor! (only for fans of groovy unmelodic hardrock)

very good melodic hard rock album. craig goldy's guitar work is best! interesting songs, nice vocals, great sounding, tuff performance from ex-dio six stringer

Shame on you Craig, I play better than this. I too expected more from a man that Dio thought very highly of. The album sounds disjointed....3/10

NO.....shame on YOU for knockin' someone who HAS made it to the top. If you are SUCH the guitarist, how come Ronnie didn't draft you? Your name in lights?....smart ass. Just another "wishing musician" wannabe, huh?

Whiplash, definitely pick this one up if you find it cheep. I know there's differing opinions on this disc - it's not a classic or their best work, but it's worth a listen. I'm not sure what your taste is, but I prefer tracks 1-5 w/ DGE on vocals; it's heavier than his work w/Guiffria. "Anytime Anywhere" is my favorite - I haven't heard it in a few years (got XM - CD's are collecting dust!) but just thinking about it is going to make it stick in my head for days.

Hey Whiplash, just saw your post (yeah, I'm a little slow on the uptake...). I don't actually have this but I remember when it came out, I listened to it and Goldy's playing is superb (gee what a surprise), but I seem to remember the songwriting to be a bit lackluster...let me know if you end up getting it how you like it. Maybe it deserves another listen...

Hidden behind one of the UGLIEST CD covers you'll ever see is a pretty damn good disc from Goldy's Ritual.Like Christine,I find myself preferring tracks 1-5 with David Glenn Eisley on vox, and "Anytime Anywhere" is GREAT.The remaining tracks aren't bad either;Mike Stone is a pretty good vocalist, who when he reaches for the high notes,I swear sounds like Mark Slaughter to me.Goldy's guitar work is impressive throughout as well.I'd recommend grabbing this one offa eBay;usually goes for around $5.

Not really to be considered as a masterpiece. You don't know the album u might think it's one of those albums with lots of useless solos just because Craig had put his name on the band.It isn't actually. It has some good tracks like Forever Morewith his great solo."Eye for an eye" is a damn good song too. Then a couple of other tracks.Worth a listen anyway especially if u love Craig's solos.Weak point is maybe the production...it could have been a better album.

I liked this cd more before i found out after this Mike Stone chopped his hair and joined a pop punk band. Took a little a bit of the appeal away-still a decent disc though. Still trying to figure out Pepe's comment. 6/10

This release is sub Par For Craig. He's much better than this. As with most monster guitar players than tend to lack songwriting skills. This album is thin in that area. The only saving grace is a few tracks with David Glenn Eisley, but not great or radio friendly. I want to hear more from other Goldy solo records to see if it gets better. He was insane in Giuffria. I saw them twice on the first tour and he was top knotch. I never saw the Dio shows but I am willing to bet it was jaw dropping!!!!

Good album with great songs but amazingly the couple of instrumental tracks were not my cup of tea...about the rest my faves ones were "Eye For An Eye","Over & Over","Forever More" this one is a very good hard rocking ballad,"What's On My Mind" is a very cool track,"In Over My Head","Hard Times Comin'" this one has a killer keyboards all around,"Starchaser" is an explosive ending...the vocals are explendid, especially David Glen Eisley's...this album has reminicences of Rainbow,Deep Purple and Uriah Heep to mention some bands that you might find similar to this project.88/100

excellent release by Craig Goldy back in 91!i d say that this is US metal with a commercial edge and this style when it s good gives great result!the musicianship is solid, the choruses big and the songs quite fine!highlights are "anytime, anywhere","forever more","what s on my mind" and "hard times comin"!recommended
