Can't believe this CD goes for such a low price. Do yourself a favor and buy it when you see it. Tough as nails.

'Last Decade Dead Century' is a brilliant milestone!!! Kory Clark seems, for the most part, seething with conviction in his crusade to expose 'Whats really happening in the world', especially on echoplex-laden anthems like 'We Cry Out' and 'Blown Away'. Fact is that his gritty bellowing is nicely complemented by John Rico's soaring guitar atmospherics!!! I love this CD and own it with pride as with all there CD's!!!

Upon first hearing this album in 90' and my jaw was just agape at the sheer heaviness of the music & the lyrics!! Thought-provoking without being preachy and a guitar sound that is heavier than f#@k. John Ricco is awesome here. Had this come out a few years later this would have sold BILLIONS. Still listen to this 13 years later which to me is always a great indication of how good a album is. Is a 'timeless' disc that is both angry & intelligent at the same time with plenty melodic riffs!

KORY CLARK IS AMAZING ON THIS CD. EXCELLENT STUFF, INDEED. MONEY WORTH. BUY . NO REGRET. IF IT DESERVES A GRADE , OF COURSE IT WOULD BE 10 WITH HONOR.

Yeah, this is fucking classic. Just balls out angst-ridden rock 'n' roll. Angst in a good way unlike the 90's version: 'ooh my parents won't let me get a cell phone, I better listen to Korn'... serious political conviction on this, right or wrong, Kory believes it. If you're a right wing conservative you will HATE this. Not being the aforementioned, I fuckin' LOVE IT!

Actually B.C. I guess I'd consider myself a right wing conservative but I have always liked Warrior Soul from the first listen. The lyrics may be preachy but The music is what I listen for over lyrics and Kory's got a great voice. Way ahead of it's time and I guess that's why I like them and not the myriad of bands that came out a few years later with a similiar sound. I would even go so far as to say BRILLIANT !!!!

My only complaint about them would be that sometimes they do get a bit overly preachy, definitely on board with you there. Plus, I'm a lot more conservative than I like to admit...SHHH, don't tell anyone. But like you said, bottom line, they just ROCK when it comes to the music!

Perhaps the biggest act of the 90´s. What a voice especially 'The Losers'. Highly recommended.

From: Metalhead Date: September 8, 2004 at 19:40
Wasn't the 6th track (the spoken recording) supposed to be titled 'Four More Years'?

From: G Child Date: September 13, 2004 at 17:59
Yes! I've always wondered about that one - isn't there another track called 4 More Years? It's certainly One Minute Year on my battered old tape, & doesn't it still sound amazing, and as devastatingly true as it was back then? Apparantly Kory has a solo record, partly spoken word & has being doing shows...hope he comes back to the UK.

Classic debut with barely a filler and some great angst-ridden hard rock. I remember seeing the video for 'The Losers' on MTV and buying the album, which is a little heavier than I'd normally go for but is an awesome debut. They finally lost me on 'Chill Pill', but the first 3 were all good albums with this topping them. The lyrics are stunning, with 'Downtown' being my personal favourite. A Skid Row style production and this would've been huge. 9/10.

From: Lennie Date: March 24, 2005 at 15:49
God, at less than £3 for this disc it is an absolute must - a bona fide hard rock classic! Who can forget the opening lines of 'I see the Ruins'? ' I live in TV land etc etc......' before blasting into a crushing riff...a defining moment in rock if ever I heard one! The real classics here though are 'We Cry Out' and the fantastic 'In Conclusion' with its great guitar solo ending. Timeless stuff.

I remmber buying this cd right when it came out after watching both videos for We Cry Out and The Losers[One of my all-time fave songs]in Headbangers Ball. I was completely blown away!!! A lot of power and conviction in each and every song. Unfortunately, my cd got stolen, but I managed to get it again. This is a 10/10 for me.

From: G Child Date: June 7, 2008 at 19:54
Well just a quick note to say I finally got to hear Four More Years - HOLY SHEEEIT what a track! Poetic, angry, beautiful. The show Kory + band played in Glasgow last year as Warrior Soul was truly awesome. But the latest news is Kory's joining TROUBLE..?! If anyone knows the latest on this, I'd love to hear it.

From: JamesEagle Date: October 23, 2009 at 7:20
Incredible album, what a debut. 'Losers' is one of the best rock/metal songs I've heard, 'Trippin' On Ecstasy' is very nearly as good and several other songs rock my world. I'd call this metal rather than rock personally, but never mind the classification, it's as near to perfection as it gets.

From: hair metal again Date: October 7, 2011 at 3:08
outstanding debut by the great WARRIOR SOUL!i remember it made great impact in the early 90 s and i was instantly hooked by the hard rock power of music &lyrics of this band.all the songs are excellent and especially "i see the ruins","losers" and "downtown".in my book this is a 90 s classic
