2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update
Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're
at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars
have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs
are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses.
The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the
year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and
keeps the lights on.

The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies
as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Rhino Bucket are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

| This is an odds-and-ends collection with three previously unreleased songs, a brief live set, and half a dozen demo versions. Of the new tracks, "Been There, Done That" is absolutely fantastic, right up there with "Hey There" and "What'd You Expect" for me. "Sights Too High" was on some compilation back in '93, and is an obvious leftover fro Get Used To It, good enough to make the album. "Nothin To Lose" sounds like an early version of "Mad Maggie," with the little-bit-o'-lovin'/whole-lotta-hate chorus. The live tracks are all nice but raw. The demos are, well, demos, but "Rather Go Insane" and "Shot Down" actually sound a little better than the versions on the debut CD. Really, for fans only, but damn, "Been There, Done That" is one of their best songs ever!
