If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Montrose CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Montrose are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

you can say this band has had some great talent in it's line-ups. Sammy Hagar, Johnny Edwards, Alan Fitzgerald and on and on. |

Timeless hardrock class ! Great stuff, not dated at all !!! |
From: Rocktron | Date: April 19, 2004 at 14:17 |
Kindly see my comments under the 1973 Montrose album. If you are new to Montrose and Gamma, get this and Gamma 1 (the album with "Thunder and Lightning" etc., etc). Both are excellent classic rock. I found a Best of Gamma CD in London, but none of the other Gamma releases. Rocktron from England. |

Hey Rocktron-you can buy Gamma 1,2 and 3 from wounded bird in remastered format. Gamma 4 is often available on Ebay. I have all 4 |

Hi Rockhead !! I am pleased to report that I now have Gamma 1 and 2 on CD. I haven't listened to G2 as yet, but I know that G1 is just superb. Cheers Buddy. Rocktron from London, England. |

The opening riff to Rock The Nation! My God! A blistering track, that along with this compilation shows you how underrated Ronnie Montrose really is, fine songs such as Let's Go also showcase the lesser known Montrose singer Bob James, buy this you won't regret it! |
From: Xenonmusic | Date: March 5, 2012 at 8:01 |
R.I.P. Ronnie! You'll be sadly missed :-( |
