Very average hard rock record.

From: rockmyroll Date: July 29, 2002 at 1:43
This is good melodic rock with a couple of stand out tracks but very much in the vein of Jagged Edge perhaps with a little more keyboards. Matt really hits the spot with his album "ALFONZETI" which is a superb rock offering but this is still a great nod in that direction! 7/10

From: robert Date: October 28, 2002 at 9:06

From: TYNOBSK FROM BR Date: March 21, 2003 at 17:05
THIS IS AN AVERAGE CD. 2 OR 3 SONGS THAT REALLY ROCKS. THE OTHERS ARE A LITTLE BIT BORING . 6/10

From: Paulo-Fernandes Date: April 18, 2003 at 22:12
Had it - sold it, thats how much i liked it, lol

From: John Date: July 23, 2003 at 14:06
Worth it for the first track 'I Believe In Rock and Roll'. Definitely slows down a bit as it goes on, but the strong songwriting remains despite the slower pace. I highly recommend this album.

From: erik Date: July 25, 2003 at 4:04
A classic album ! No way average. Go and buy !

From: BORDER RAT Date: December 10, 2003 at 10:24
A VERY GOOD MELODIC ROCK CD.STAY ALIVE IS A GOOD SING ALONG SONG WHICH WILL STAND OUT AFTER THE FIRST LISTEN.LET ME TOUCH YOUR SKIN IS A BALLAD SIMILAR TO WHITESAKE.IN MOTION IS A VERY BLUESY TRACK WHICH IS NOT AN INSTANT HIT BUT IT GROWS ON YOU.IT HAS A GOOD GUITAR SOLO.HEART TO HEART AND DANCING ON TOP OF THE WORLD ARE GOOD SING A LONG TUNES.I CAN LISTEN TO EVERY TRACK ON THIS CD WITHOUT PRESSING THE SKIP BUTTON.I CAN'T BE FAIRER THAN THAT.

Touted as potentially one of Sweden's best hard rock exports, around about the time that Swedish colleagues such as Europe, Treat, 220 Volt and Alien were making inroads into the melodic rock scene during the late eighties. How these guys missed the 'success boat' defies logic. One of the strengths of the band are Alfonzetti's vocals, which all throughout the album are a magic cross between Riverdogs Rob Lamothe and Wall Of Silence's Brian Malone.

From: Geoff Date: June 4, 2004 at 2:42
These guys remind me a lot of Bai Bang, 'Cop to con' era. The songs that hit the spot are killer slabs of melodic hard rock - massively hook friendly and catchy, but liek Bai Bang there are a few fillers involved too. As the gems far outweigh the filler, I highly recommend it because fans of Matti Alfonzetti know what he's capable of and he shines here. Great melodic tunes!

From: Rik Date: September 17, 2004 at 12:38
Just perfect melodic rock ! Wish Alfonzetti would go back to what he is best at. Awesome melodic catchy album !

From: headbanger4life Date: November 29, 2005 at 6:58
This is the first cd I bought that had Alfonzetti on vocals and I really enjoy it. The opening track is rockin' but "Let Me Touch Your Skin" is my fav. What an awesome ballad. A few fillers but otherwise a great melodic rock release.

From: Erik Date: November 29, 2005 at 13:08
Am totally with you on this one headbanger4life. Excellent melodic hard rock. And man has this guy has a fantastic voice. Pick up Alfonzetti - Ready. Its easily as good

From: Remastered Reason Date: January 16, 2006 at 15:47
Good Disc. Rockers, ballads, good production, great vocals, etc. Yes indeed, not groundbreaking but good at what they do.

From: XabDeth Date: August 6, 2006 at 21:56
desde Venezuela... He escuchado este disco, y la verdad que me parece muy bueno, buenas melodias, la voz, guitarras y teclados bien ejecutados, hard/melodic de gran nivel.

From: Heavy.AOR Date: October 31, 2006 at 11:26
BRILLIANT 10/10.Great MHR/AOR.

From: Helix Date: November 14, 2006 at 12:52
just an average cd. Nothing to run home and tell your mom about. Only two songs on this cd stuck out for me I beleive in rock n roll and stay alive where the two songs. I guess if you like lite rock this would be a cd for you but if you are looking for a rockin cd this cd is not for you.

From: Magnus Date: April 3, 2007 at 15:29
I think this is a very good disc! Original recorded 1989. Released 10 years after and thanks for that! These guys plays good Scandi AOR/melodic rock and not so much MHR..If you like band such as Easy Action - That makes one and Stage Dolls - s/t and Return - V this won't disapoint you. Matti Alfonzetti is a very good singer that sounds alot like Tommy Nilsson at times..7/10

From: juan carlos Date: July 6, 2007 at 0:36
Temazos como "Let Me Touch Your Skin" "Susanne" "Someday" "Heart to Heart" "Stay Alive" "White Lies"... Y no sigo mejor. Discazo y clásico rotundo. 9/10

From: the rocker Date: January 20, 2008 at 10:29
i love alfonzetti voice, and i love jagged edge and the first alfonzetti cd. and i do like this cd, but i find it is a little to HALL AND OATS. and i do like hall and oats.but i like alfonzetti to sing harder rock. i think it's the sound of the keyboards or something like that.

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: December 6, 2008 at 18:20
Let Me Touch Your Skin wonderful ballad....

From: rick kerch vzla Date: June 5, 2010 at 20:30
Killer album!!!..highly recommended 4 sure..solid AOR tracks with some INXS hints at times that makes it poppy (especially the opening track "I Believe In Rock 'n' Roll").."Prisoner" is a rocky track,"Let Me Touch Your Skin" is a smoothie AOR,a highlight of the album,"Susanne","Dancing On Top Of The World"(both quality AOR),"Stay Alive" and "Heart To Heart" are also highlights...in general lines a very nice and compact album..with Alfonzetti singing here (from Jagged Edge fame)we have something worth 4 real!.97/100

From: hair metal again Date: February 14, 2014 at 9:23
excellent debut by a band which members later on got involved in many hard rock releases in Sweden and not only!i believe that if BAM BAM BOYS were a bit luckier with the record companies ,we would now been talking about one of Sweden s finest!Alfonzetti shines ,the hooks are there and the whole result is truly excellent!many big hits included like :"heart to heart","someday","let me touch your skin" and "stay alive"!essential for sure
