This cd just don't do it for me but it is very melodic . . . . . If You eat a few grams of shrooms then ya might get off on it!!

Great CD, very melodic, the guitars are amazing, many diferent lyrics, I really liked this CD.

From: Teo_3 Date: December 17, 2002 at 21:49
Nothing to do with Fair Warning, too much experimental on the guitars part. Pretty average effort.6.5/10

From: MALLORCA´S ROCK Date: January 23, 2003 at 9:14

From: Rycheage Date: February 4, 2003 at 1:38
Powerful and melodic at the same time. This rocks!! "What You Believe in" is an awesome rocker!! Get this now!!

El disco que no grabó Fair Warning

From: Romolo Date: April 25, 2003 at 4:23

From: Hrudet Date: July 1, 2003 at 21:54
What the guys have amassed here is a collection of very likeable, very strong, structured rock songs. I would also like to add that the quality of the musicianship on this record is also very high. This is a very professional outfit and the delivery of the songs refects that. European rock fans should grab this immediately, as it's one of the strongest and best produced albums of it's genre. "What You Believe In" and "Ten Years Blind" are the gems of this all around strong CD.

One of the best relaeses of 2001. Very good band that for me is successor to the Fair Warning. Best songs are "Come with me" and "What you believe in" also great is ballad "I take.."....check out also the instrumental "Phoenix tears"....

It's the best what came out of Germany ever --that's my humble opinion. The 2nd album "Dreams for the daring" (released lately) is even better !! The song "Eden" is even more powerful and brightens up your mind more than "What you believe in"!! I'm from Germany and I can't believe why this 1st release pictured here is offered for modest 9,00 Euros ???

This is the best ever german rock cd that i've ever heard.forget about Fair Warning ,Scorpions or what ever. This is in a nother level, the songs are superb , every song has it's life, super guitar sound , one of the best singers , not a screamer, and the keyboards sounds very thrilling,mystic...this is a classy classic to be...This is music with real life.

From: Paolo Date: January 11, 2004 at 9:28
Why is not here the second album Dreams for the daring???

From: Date: January 17, 2004 at 6:33
A little too Helloween-ish. At least the first album. The same problem Sonata Arctica have. Too much double bass drum. Good musicians.

Crashed totally Rocks and shakes the foundation, my Home Custom 1200 watt Carver Stereo makes everything sound Awesome, at least half this cd takes a step above, the sound is tremendous mixed with great Vocals, give it shot, it will grow on you...trust me

From: Dave Date: March 8, 2005 at 4:32
A truly GREAT album from some of the Fair Warning guys. Excellent guitar, good atmosphere, good vocals and great hooks. Not at all a boring album. It actually surprises here and there without straying from what we all want to hear - great hard rock! On me this album grew with every listen. Got better and better. Listen to it at least 2-3 times and you'll understand what I mean. It is near a 10/10

From: mauricio Date: July 2, 2006 at 22:29

From: mauricio Date: July 2, 2006 at 22:29

From: mauricio Date: July 3, 2006 at 19:27

From: newscandi Date: August 18, 2007 at 17:08
The one thing I wanna change in opinion to my earlier commentation as scandi is that I rate this album higher than their 2nd. Of course, "Eden" is VERY powerful but otherwise this offers even more powerful & fresh hard rock than the also good DREAMS FOR THE DARING. So "What you believe in" can easily stand as the precessor of "Eden". But as well the other songs are intelligent, indians sounding songs in which you also might hear a mix of DARE (1st) & FAIR WARNING. 89/100

From: MrBig Date: October 17, 2007 at 2:22

From: happy2849 Date: March 7, 2011 at 15:39
Another great release from the Frontiers label. Well written songs and top-notch musicianship. Released in 2001 it sure is a lot better then what most records companies are trying to sell now days.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: May 3, 2011 at 20:09
Pretty good album or may i say debut by Dreamtide!!!..showing us how to play melodic yet powerful songs with some AOR flavour...personally i think this is more of a Hard AOR/Melodic Rock rather than pure AOR..."Moment Of Truth","I Take The Weight Off Your Shoulders" & "Cross The Line" are my faves but add 2 that the beautiful song "Heaven Knows","What You Believe In","Ten Years Blind" & "Crashed"...recommended album...93/100

From: elljam Date: July 18, 2012 at 14:02
I definitely see the Fair Warning comparisons as these guys have the same knack for writing a great melodic rock song but they still have their own sound with some atmospheric moments. "Come with me", plus the two ballads "Dreamers" & "I take the weight off your shoulders" are excellent tracks although apart from the pointless last track I liked every song. Recommended !!

From: hair metal again Date: September 29, 2017 at 12:52
pretty good release for DREAMTIDE with a clear FAIR WARNING similarity and highly recommended for fans of European hard heavy!the musicianship& production is very capable ,but i dont dig their approach as it exceeds!if they kept it with songs like "cross the line" and "i take the weight off your shoulders" the result would be better!
