This was a strange album for Alice. But once you get passed the difference from other albums, this is a really good album. Cuts 1,3,5,6 and 8 are standout tracks with Alice's uncanny sense of humour. Good for a laugh and interesting from a period point of view.

Although his transformation from macabre rocker to outlandish buffoon wasn't completed until 1982's embarrassing "Zipper Catches Skin", this is pretty close to rock bottom. By now, Alice isn't taking himself seriously at all, so why should we? A pretty aimless outing that is so bad, it's almost good.

One of his worst albums. "Seven and Seven Is" is a great song though. Almost worth getting for that one song. For hardcore AC fans only.

I picked up a copy of this record just because it was Alice Cooper. While it's not one of his best, this album grew on me. There's just something about it. I think the beauty of this release is the fact that it's so out there. I'd like to get this one on disc!

Love the song "Who Do You Think We Are" turned up nice and loud. "Seven & Seven Is" is a great song also. The rest isn't too impressive. "Generation Landslide '81 Live" is just a studio remake with overdubbed crowd noise. Track 11 isn't on my cd--must be a bonus track.

Alice with his second new wave album in a row. "Who Do You Think We Are" is one of his underrated classics, but the rest of the album is inconsistent. The best thing about the album are the song titles. 5/10

This is the worst Alice Cooper album I've heard. Considering the first two psychadelic albums are the only ones I'm not familiar with, that's pretty crappy. Total new wave minus the good songwriting found on Flush The Fashion. Salvageable tracks: Who Do You Think We Are, Seven & Seven Is, You Look Good In Rags, and Vicious Rumours. I gave it a 4.5

I can't see why everyone hates this record so much. Maybe it's not Alice's hard-rocking style of the 70's or later in the 80's, but still a solid album. I can't think of a bad track on here. An underrated gem here. 8.5/10

From: scott Date: December 16, 2005 at 9:29
An odd mixture of 80's synth-pop and semi-heavy 70's hard rock. Somehow Alice missed the boat completely here. While most his fans were off following the NWOBHM explosion, Alice was off exploring the new wave fad. Fortunately it wouldn't take long for Alice to rediscover himself again as the King of shock metal. There are a few standout cuts on this disc, like "Skeletons in the Closet" and a live version of one of Alice's most underrated songs "Generation Landslide".

I think this album rocks. "Prettiest Cop On The Block", "Don't Talk Old To Me" and "Who Do You Think We Are?" are great rockers. And "Skeletons In The Closet" is on my Top 10 Alice songs.
