The BEST Alice's album ever!!It's the hardest and the coolest one!Featuring musicians as Kip Winger, Kane Roberts and Ken Mary it's VERY awesome!All the songs are great,but "Freedom" and "Roses on white lace" have a BIG impact!10 out of 10!!

This was Alice's most metal album(up until "Brutal Planet"). Very good songs. I believe keyboardist Paul Horowitz is Winger's Paul Taylor.

Somewhere along the line Alice realized that the key to golf course retirement would be hair metal and not art rock. Good decision Sir Alice! RAISE is my all time favorite Cooper looper because it is raw, technically proficient and more than a bit nasty. He got a bit nudered after this, bringing in the Desmond Childs of the world. Could Child write "If you don't like it you can lock me up, OH OH OH OH OH!" I'm guessing not. Welcome SLAP MAGGIE. I like your style.

Good album indeed...As it's mentioned above it's alice's "metal" album. Good melodies and great over-all atmosphere. Brillant Alice-touch with the track "Gail"...Pure evil from the maestro...Bwahahahahah (Should sound evil!)

This album is pure metal from the beginning to the end!!! HUGE!!! The three first tracks are totally awesome, I think Freedom is the best song from Alice Cooper! All songs are great though, never a dull moment on this album! You said it well, Scandinavia - "Pure evil from the Maestro". YESS!!

Freedom kicks ass! One of Alice´s best albums. Prince of Darkness is also John Carpenters horror movie, Alice Cooper in cast.

without a shadow of a doubt,this is my favorite a. cooper album.IMHO he should´ve kept this style instead of writting love songs like he did in trash.the musicianship in this album is very tight specially kane roberts who delivers some great guitar solos throughout the whole album,also the material in here its excellent.if you havent heard this album go and check it out youll be surprised!(the nightmare has just begun!!!!!!).

this album is awesome. LOVE THE TITLE Sort of a rally cry. Tired of the Rappa-wannabe crud that seems to be everywhere.It's time for ROCK to reclaim it's rightful place. doesn't matter if it's 70's,80's even some 90's ROCK it is better than Rap or any of that other R&B fluff. Support The ROCK bands, it starts in the clubs. TIRED OF RAP,then RAISE YOUR FIST AND YELL..LOUD.

Please Alice listen to this album and forget the latest - crappy - three... bring back Kane and Ken Mary and make another effort like this... my favourite AC album, all-star line-up (Kane Roberts and Kip Winger are alone better singers than Alice!And Ken Mary is my all-fave drummer!!), great musicianship, great songs, no fillers... this is PURE 80's METAL AT HIS BEST!!!!

Songs like prince of darkness,freedom and chop,chop,chop are really some of the best songs produced by alice. But i the trash album more. don't know why but i think its more pop metal or hair metal. Gail is a good ballad but the two ballad in trash is much better. nevertheless,this album rocks!

My favorite Alice Cooper album! The animalistic intensity that only Alice Cooper can deliver with the insane wicked awesome guitar playing of Kane Roberts. After listening to kane Roberts guitar playing I became a huge fan instantly.

This one is a true classic. Although "Give Back The Radio" is a little weak, there's not a really bad track on here. A definate improvement over the somewhat poppy "Constrictor". Top songs include "Lock Me Up", "Roses On White Lace", "Freedom" and "Time To Kill". I give "Raise Your Fist and Yell" a 10/10.

What Alice managed to do on this release was capture the past while seeming to sound new and contemporary. "Freedom" was the big hit off this album. "Chop, Chop, Chop" and "Roses on White Lace" seem reminiscent of Cooper's "Welcome to My Nightmare" days. A solid album, although still not equal to brilliant releases like Billion Dollar Babies, Killer and Love It To Death. 8/10

Alice's early albums may be considered classics, but for my money, this is when he started getting really good. Some songs still showcase his taste for horror imagery and theatrics, but his commercial side also began coming through, with some truly excellent late 80s metal anthems rocking hard right from the get-go. As the title suggests, you will most definitely want to raise your fist and yell when this puppy explodes from your speakers. Part horror-rock, part commercial metal, but all Alice.

This is his heaviest; it hits hard. Everything you would want from a commercial 80's hard rock/metal disc.

My personal favourite album by Alice & with the muscular & talented guitarist Kane Roberts. This album got literally said - Amazing moments! Hear "Freedom", "Lock Me Up" & "Roses On White Lace". Some of the choruses are really catchy & there is amazing riffs & solos made by Kane. Drummer Ken K. Mary is a really good Heavy Metal drummer as well & then there's Kip Winger on bass guitar too!!! You'll be singin' "If you don't like me you can lock me up - Wooo-Oh-oh-ooooh-Oooooo!" after hearing this!

Also my favourite album from Alice along with "Hey Stoopid". A heavier album than the previous "Constrictor", includes powerful tracks like "Freedom", "Time To Kill", "Prince Of Darkness", the amazing trilogy "Chop Chop Chop/Gail/Roses On White Lace" and great guitar works. Personally, highly recommended.

Pretty wild album by Alice Cooper!!!...1987 was a great year for Glam Rock bands and Alice took some kind of Ratt vibe in some songs in here!!! ...best shots 4 me are "Freedom","Lock Me Up","Step On You"(Ratt a 100%),"Prince Of Darkness","Time To Kill" & "Roses On White Lace"...recommended stuff...88/100

excellent hard rock release by ALICE COOPER back in 87 !he always had top class musicians and this is no exception:kane roberts,kip winger,ken mary wow!!!!!the result is guitar driven heavy rock with excellent production by michael wagener and many strong songs like "freedom","step on you","roses on white lace","lock me up".essential release in my book that captures the 80 s US metal spirit
