| New wave Alice. At least one song gets played at my local 80s Retro Club Night: "Clones (We're All)", wherein Alice tries to be both The Cars and Gary Numan at the same time. "Talk Talk" isn't bad, but the rest might as well be flushed away.

No koogles, it might not. Actually Pain, Aspirin Damage or Model Citizen also contain some nice hooks. Though I admit this isn't Alice's greatest achievement, you can't just flush it down the john only because it doesn't hold a candle to eg. School's Out, which is hard to top anyway. Alice is Alice, enuff said. Bow before him or perish!

| Alice goes New Wave and it works sometimes ("Clones") and fails on others (pretty much everything else). The beginning of his obscure 80's output, the albums that would follow this one are better. 5/10

| After releasing the brilliant "From the Inside", Alice hooks up with The Cars producer Roy Thomas Baker to put out this synth led rock n' roll album. While I should hate this record, I don't. Blame it on nostalgia or whatever, this is actually a very catchy album. "Clones", "Pain", and even the token rocker "Grim Facts" are some standout cuts.

| This was some kind of "enteringtheeighttiesnewwaveexperiment" but well musicians have to evolutionate and Mr Cooper at the time being wasn't the exception.Songs such as "Clones"& "talk talk" are the examples of how bands Such as Duran Duran,A Flock Of Seagulls and so on invaded the media and some self-respected rockers couldn't escape temptation but the incredible thing is that the 2 songs mentioned were excellent cuts and were hits when released.This is only a humble opinion.Keep rocking!!!!!.

Listening again to this release...nothing else to say but the tracks i liked the most and the rate:"Talk Talk","Clones"(  ),"Grim Facts","Nuclear Infected,"Dance Yourself To Death(ala Rolling Stones) & "Headlines"...the rate?,not very optimist,55/100

| very good release for ALICE COOPER even though as stated above he put some new wave elements here and there!when you releasing so many albums you just cant offer always the same thing and artists trying something new is acceptable!the result is pretty good and i enjoyed it ,especially with songs like grim facts and dance yourself to death!
