I love everything this guy has ever done. This album sounds like it was recorded in the early seventies. He just keeps getting better. How can an old man be this fucking cool?? |

When i listened this album 4 the first time,i said...ummmm..it didn't catch my attetion at all but after the second listening..my God!!!..this is a really nice album indeed!!!...it has a kind mixture of 70's sound plus some dark glam added to it and perhaps psychodelic feel too ("I am A Spider").Another relevant songs are "Catch Me If You Can","Feminine Side","I'm Hungry" and well to be honest all the songs are worth every single penny you spent in this cd.Not necessarily 4 fans only but for open minded listeners!!!.90/100 |

While he hasnt done a bad album in years (decades even), this is by far one of his best in recent memory. The last few Coop albums all sort of were there, but had barely any 'classic' tracks for me, but this one has stand out track after stand out track. A lot of people have said this is a throwback to the 70s, but I have to say thats not quite true. While there are certainly spots that sound like the 70s, there is also a good smattering of 80s Alice as well. What is missing is the more modern sound of the likes of Brutal Planet etc. |

I picked this up the other day at of all places my local library. Seems our librarians have a rock and roll streak in them! Have never really been a follower of Alice, but I gotta say this CD is really cool. Totally agree with above, has got that 70's vibe to it. The old gal (er.…guy) can still rock it. Check it out if you can. |
