If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Shakra CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Shakra are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Average album. Start's good with Cassandra's Curse, which Thomas Muster said he thinks it's one of the best songs he's ever written. It's definitely Shakra at the top of their game. But for the rest of the album I really don't feel anything. Most of the songs just sounds and feels like uninspired and inferior versions of songs they've done before. Which, I suppose, isn't exactly a surprise when we're talking about a band that's been around for 20 years now and released 11 albums

the advantage with shakra is that it s very rare to be disapointed.all their records are dynamic, punchy, well produced with big sound, big guitars and memorable choruses."snakes&ladders" is a typical shakra s realise.like always one filler (track 1)an average song with a modern riff without melody.no problems for the other songs they are very catchy and varied.this is the more mature album of their career, this album is rich with sometimes a little touch of keyboards (track 9 a fantastic ballad),a touch of acoustic guitars (track 12 a super song).track 6 is a little bluesy.tracks 4 and 5 are marvellous, this two exceptionnal songs have a fm touch.the rest is typical shakra s hard rock.fans (like me)of this swiss hard rock band will be totally under the charm with this new cd.my swiss neighbours (genova is at only 120 kms from my town lyon) are very lucky to have a band like this in their country.
