First two tracks on this are rockin'....really a great "in your face" mix on the guitars. Lookin forward to hearin the rest of this little jewel from Sweden.

I really like this band, you just never know what the next track is going to sound like. On this album the styles range from sounding like a Treat/Alien-style ballad to Metallica-style riffing. Just listen to opener "Love Lies Bleeding", this is heavy stuff. It's always melodic though, with the same big harmonies that filled the "View from the Top" album. Is more of a grower than that album, and the production is more raw sounding, but it's still great stuff. 8/10.

Great effort from this guys. I really enjoyed listen to this album. Very well produced, great songwriting, great individual performances. And I must be crazy, but I heard a lot of Van Hagar in the opening track.

From: Rycheage Date: August 30, 2004 at 22:58
Heavy arena styled rock is what this CD is all about. "Devil's Advocate", "Love Lies Buried", "Back To Yesterday" and "Pull You Down" highlight this hook filled CD. This absolutely rocks. The ballads are quite touching also. "Heaven Or Hell" and "And This Is Why" showcase this perfectly. Highly recommended for those who love the Scandi-rock of the 80's. Great stuff.

From: TIM (2) Date: September 28, 2004 at 7:27
Actually, Rycheage's just nailed why I don't quite like this one as much as "View...". The ballads. They're good, but they're not "Between Dark & Dawn" which was HUGE and an all-time fave ballad of mine. Also the slightly more straight-ahead MHR of this as opposed to the more varied predecessor (probably because most of this wasn't written by the band). Is still excellent though, and a highlight of 2004 undoubtedly...

In the back of the booklet, is one of those in the picture Steve Newman (the last one form the left)?

UNA AUTENTICA PASADA!!ESTO ES SUPERARSE.COROS INCREIBLES,SECCION RITMICA APABULLANTE Y UNAS GUITARRAS MATADORAS¿QUE MAS SE PUEDE PEDIR?

From: vandervelde Date: February 5, 2005 at 6:40
For me this was best album of the 2004 year...some very hard riffs here (definately their heaviest effort) but everything around melodious vocals...actually vocallist here isn't maybe outstanding but he simply fit into this band...best tracks The Best Is Yet To Come(very powerfull chorus), Back To Yesterday and Devil's Advocate.

From: AOR freaky Date: February 5, 2005 at 15:17
In fact, Scandinavia and vandervelde have a point here. This is VERY underrated, till my shame also by me, but it deserves to be admired. Great piece of work. Fantastic album, not best of 2004, but far better than a lot of us believe it is !

From: Swriter Date: February 12, 2005 at 16:07
very good, not classic album. New to the band and they remind me of TNT's new album but not as fantastic as that one, good release in the hard melodic vein, some good high screams!!!! hehehehe

De lejos su última y mejor obra, menos corasos y mas efectividad en las guitarras y melodías que su anterior obra. Realmente un disco que se tiene que escuchar varias veces para que te siga gustando mas. Los solos y la variedad me gustan en este disco. "When You Were Mine" es sin duda su mejor canción, temazo! Casi todos los temas me gustan, no un clásico pero muy recomendable. 8.8/10

This album is vital: the originality printed inside show to us the quality that the band has. I haven´t still listened to their other albums, but by the comments left this is should be by far their best release. 10/10.

GREAT CD 94/100 what SCANDI MELODIC METAL should always be ! If you like TNT intuition era or GLORY/TREAT/MASQUERADE with some US AOR/POMP influences like FAIR WARNING or PRISONNER/STYX you'll love it ! // THEIR HEAVIEST CD by far GREAT PROD.by the mighty TOMMY HANSEN but i really love DECOY too which is more METAL oriented, like a softer FATAL FORCE version !

From: ferstyx Date: September 7, 2007 at 21:15

Been a long time since I busted this one out and I gotta say, WOW! A great cd by any standards. As stated above, this one was a grower for me but it really does have it all. Straight up rockers ("devil's advocate" is a monster opener) to gripping ballads ("and this is why"). Top notch release that deserves your attention.
