Temporary Message Board Closure
The company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that
would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling
to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different
platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content
(posts, user profiles, etc.).
However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere
from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated.
While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some
long-term savings.
The current message board will be closed down at some point this
Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are
reading this), will NOT be affected.

| I expected for more when i saw the names of Tim Pierce or Mike Slamer involved here, but at first listens i was a bit disappointed, yep itīs a good AOR/MR album, Good production, some good solos, Pomp Choruses(i cannot dig this kind of choruses). "Never Find Her Alone" "Brand New World" "Evil and Pain" "Emily" and the ballad "Forever With You" are good ones. I still prefer their "Ordinary Just Wonīt Do" album. 8.6/10

| An overall very strong album! Especially the first and the last track are 2 of the better songs I've heard since years! 95/100

| good release by GRAND ILLUSION with fantastic production and many good songs like "never find her alone","emily" and the sensational "forever with you".good musicianship,clear sound and some pomp is what you get here.good one

| This is a great AOR/pomp release and I love the harmony vocals in "Sacrifice" (1.15min - 1,25min!!!). I do have the 2 previous Grand Illusion albums on Escape Music as well and if you like these you will love Brand New World too. One of the songs is named after my daughter "Emily" so this Cd will always be special for me.
