They were really young when they did this album. Good stuff for the time, but sounds awfully dated today. |

It doesn't get any better than this. I bought this when it was released in '84, Not a bad song on it. It was rereleased on a double CD with the 1st album included. A Definite Classic. |

"Hold me Down" rules!!! An 80's classic. |
From: Proman1 | Date: February 24, 2004 at 16:20 |
peevee ya damn right!!! "Hold Me Down" is scorching, anybody that is into chicks with guitars should hear this!!!! for a trio of young babes they rocked!! anybody got any info on what these chicks are up to these days?? I believe the drummer was like 15 or 16 when they recorded this and her sister on vocals was 19 at the time. any info on the singer would be awesome, her voice is sultry, seductive yet nice and gritty at times and she sings just as good as she looks.. |

I used to fancy Jody Turner somthing rotten, gorgeous and with a great raunchy voice. This cd is an excellent follow up to the debut, which in my opinion is a british hard rock classic. Brilliant!! |

Start Running is an awesome tune!! Oh, it's not on this album?? Hmm... It's the only song I know from these girls, and it rox. I'd like to hear more of them. |

Buen HardRock que para ser del 84.. El cover no me va mucho, Me gusta el disco a partir del "In the Night", "Hold Me Down" es un gran tema, "You've Got Fire" "It Will Never Change" "Don't Want Your Love" mis favoritas. Buena voz de Jody Turner, buenas guitarras, buenos coros y algunos buenos solos. Rock On!! 8.5/10 |

Hi my friend 123charpenay!!!...is not a bad album but it ain't also a killer one IMO,just kinda simple straight forward Hard Rock,at least to me,Girlschool for intance is a better female hard rocking act(Rock Goddess is not around the bizz anymore and Girlschool continues, that says it all)...cheers man and keep on rocking |
