| Good canadian melodic hardrock, a bit special at times and probably not to everyone's taste (the voice of Darby, I suppose), but with the help from the now passed by Brian Macleod a rather nice affair, not a top album.

| Always found this one pretty boring - nothing memorable in the song department. Although as 'The Freak' says, Darby's vocals are special. The follow up 'Line of fire' was where it was at for me, what a great album that was!!!!!.

Agree with Jez and Freaky (again... I must have drunk or inhaled something odd at lunch.  ) But yeah, this didn't do much for me. I wonder why it has such a high rating? 'Don't ya ever leave me' is a cool song, but the rest didn't do anything for me.

| HardRock del comun, ciertamente lo mejor de los albums de Headpins son la producción y La voz de Darby Mills bien cañera y rasposa nada mal. Los solos son buenos pero los temas en si muy del común. "Don't Ya Ever Leave Me" de lo mejorcillo o "You Can't Have Me" rockeable, el solo fiestero en "People".. mmm.. Rockeable por momentos. 7.8/10

| Desde Canadá llega esta banda, éste es su primero trabajo, me gusta mucho el trabajo de guitarra de Brian Macleod y un buen trabajo de la sección rítmica, la voz de Darby en este disco en especial se muestra que aún no encontraba su estilo, En lo personal me gusta este hardrock simple con guitarras y potencia, los mejores temas son los ya mencionados " Don´t Ya Ever Leave Me" "Turn it Out Loud" etc. Para los que les gusta ese sonido ochentero, básico y sin complicaciones. Si vas a empezar, recomiendo también el Line of Fire de 1983
