|A Canadian Gem. It's a real shame this band didn't hit it big in the U.S. If you like big thick sounding melodic rock with loud drums, screaming guitar and a female vocalist that will rip your ears off, this one's for you. This one, their last studio release, hasn't found it's way to cd yet but you can get most of these songs on their anthology disc. Their first one, Turn It Loud now on disc is another great one.

|Barbie have a incredible voice, is the best. Check this band now!

|Darby is hardly Barbie, vicrock, but I'll agree with you on the voice thing. I prefer her 1991 solo CD to anything she did with the Headpins. It's more streamlined AOR in the Heart-Lee Aaron mold.

|IMO, this is the best Headpins album. I also have to admit I'm slightly aroused by Darby on the cover of this one. Again, it's the great hard rock vibe throughout this one that I love. The first 3 tracks are all great and 'Don't matter what you say' and 'Be with you' are also great. This is probably their most commercial album, and the one I'd recommend to new-comers looking to get into the band. Very good stuff.

|Very good album, really recommended..a mix of powerful rock songs with catchy ones too!..."Still The One" opens the album with real good,"Death Of Me" is a rocky tune,"Stayin' All Night" is my fave one, with some AOR in it,"Hot Stuff" is pretty cool,"Chain Gang" has a pleasent sax,"Don't Matter What You Say" is another rock track,"Be With You" is catchy and "Burnin' At Both Ends" is a highlight 4 sure, the best of the rocky tracks..The voice of Darby Mills(no relation or family tie with Tony Mills of Shy and TNT)has an edgy tone that gives power and at the same time serenity where is needed..buy and enjoy..93/100
