What can you say about this album? It is a classic! Probably one of the best albums of all time. Of course, most everyone relates this with Freebird, which is an incredible song. But Simple Man and Tuesday's Gone, WOW! Probably my 2 personal favorites from these guys. All the songs are good. Good ol boys doing great ol rock & roll!

Simplemente el mejor disco de southern rock que escuche, sin desperdicio desde el rimer al último tema, las guitarras tocadas con mucho gusto y sentimiento especialmente en Tuesday's gone y freebird.

Skynyrd are an institution. The music from up until the plane crash in 1977 has transcended time. This album started everything from the opening burner " I Ain't The One" to the all-time great, "Freebird". Van Zant's particularly penetrating and effective lyrics of real life situations, aspirations, hopes, & dreams has hit home to many rockers. How anybody can live without a little Skynyrd in their life is a mystery. Guess you either get it or you don't.

Although I've been a hard rock fan for over 30 years, I never got into Skynyrd until much later. I actually prefer the more recent albums & while I'm sure this was great for it's time, it's just an ok album for me. "Simple Man" is a great song & tracks 1-3,5 & 7 are all good rock n roll,"Mississippi Kid" is a filler & I've always found "Freebird" overrated. Good but nowhere near great.
