This album was all about the glory days of hard rock. if you like Firehouse, Motly Crue and Poison you should give this band a try. Lay Down and Cry is a great power ballad and as you can guess, "Drink until she's Cute" is one hot party rock song.

From: crusher Date: January 14, 2002 at 23:56
This is one of my favorite cds out there! Imagine Firehouse mixed with a touch of Johnny LIMA and you get the rockin sound of Shy TIGER! Speaking of JOHNNY LIMA when do we have his cds on HH?

From: WidoMakr Date: January 20, 2002 at 6:35
Maybe its me....but these guys SUCK!!!! I dont see any reference to Crue..Poison and Firehouse...where are the great guitars...the pounding drums of Crue...the singing of firehouse...the feel good sound of poison (some tunes anyway).stay with the real deal......quote the WidoMakr....never more

I ain't shy about admitting that I really like this CD. Kind of sounds like an indie version of Tuff mixed with some Tigertailz. In other words, good, catchy pop-metal, packed with hooks, sing-along choruses, and stacked harmony vocals, all the ingredients necessary to please the ears of most hair metal fans.

From: Ryan Freeman Date: February 18, 2002 at 23:09
Hey everyone! This is Ryan, singer of the band formerly known as Shy Tiger. We're now Anatomic. If you liked Feed the Kitty, you'll like In For the Thrill even more. You can check it out at www.anatomicrock.com. Thanks!

From: kanji Date: January 25, 2003 at 21:14
hi! my name is kanji, from Japan. this band is very good, but I feel singer's voice is little powerless. Songs they made is very pop and cathy! Desperate is the most favorite song for me. Of cource, other songs are very good too. if you like the pop metal like dagerdanger you must get!

From: koogles Date: March 11, 2003 at 19:50
Dager Danger? Is that a German D2 tribute band, Kanji? (Joke). Seriously, Shy Tiger could have used a little more legal tender in the production dept. but not a bad hard rock/glam release. Don't pay outrageously for this CD and you'll be okay.

From: Laaz Date: January 6, 2004 at 23:41
Hello everybody,I just got this AMAZING album!!!It's like the AOR/HM Danger Danger!!! These guys talently!Great guitarwork! It's truely a nice job! But ,how about "Hearts on Fire" this song?come from which songwriter?I like this song! This album glory the past 80 music!

From: gener8tr Date: June 28, 2004 at 16:02
This is a pretty cool recording, but does anyone else agree that the quality of paper / atwork is nothing short of terrible? I don't mean the photo of the tiger, I'm talking about the actual quality. It looks and feels like something out of my 1992 HP Inkjet?

From: Geoff Date: September 5, 2004 at 23:45
Any album with a track called 'Drink until she's cute' get's my vote! But otherwise, this CD is just awesome and a fave of mine. I'd call it Bon Jovi with a hint of glam. 'Young and only' is a huge commercial rocker and a fave,'Believe in you' is a beautiful ballad,'I'll never forget you' is melodic bliss,'Will you be there' and 'Alright without you' are huge commercial anthems and 'Lay down and cry' is simply a stunning ballad. 'Hearts of fire' is killer too. Excellent CD!!! Highly recommended.

From: Curtis Scheck Date: October 19, 2004 at 18:20
Hey!!! If you like the glam sound, This cd is for you!! GREAT radio rock. If you like TUFF you will love SHY TIGER!! I like the balled (Believe In You). Great glam band! If you DON'T like glam DON'T buy this cd....

I really enjoy listening to this one. It´s good time hard rock with kicks and excellent songs like "Desperate", "Believe in you", "Drink until she´s cute" aso. Not a single week tune on the CD. If you like to trade Hardrock CDs, contact me at iswos.ha@newsclub.at.

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: September 16, 2007 at 2:58
GOOD CD 79/100 /but not awesome IMHO ! the songs are OK but the production is weak and the singing is not always perfect ! If you are a fan of SHY TIGER you'll love the later band ANATOMIC too !

From: rick kerch vzla Date: September 28, 2010 at 21:56
I found this album quite interesting to say the least...the songs are in that typical Hard Rock vein..about the vocalist..ummm...decent..probably i agree with Yngwieviking about that singing issue but still Ryan Freeman did more than an acceptable job(the production didn't help either so that contributed to that "semi poor" sound)anyway...songs..."Desperate" is a one with a catchy chorus,"Young & Only" is a highlight,"Believe In You" another highlight that also has a good chorus line,"Lay Your Body Down" just rocks,"I'll Never Forget You" is a very pleasant mid tempo AOR track,"Hearts On Fire" also rocks, a shot too,"Alright Without You" has some AORish choruses but it ain't an AOR track at all & "Drink Until She's Cute" guess what?..rocks but excellently!!! ...buy and find out by yourselves...86/100
