Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

I am not a big fan of this cd but they do have some talent and just need to be more consistent . . . There are some decent songs on this cd if You like the lighter side of Rock but there are also several weak songs too. |

Here in The Twin Cities, Minnesota, they're considered one of the best cover bands around, along with their originals. |

'Tumblin Dice' has a piano based motif leading off then settles quite nicely into a power ballad. 'Ship Of Dreams' has some interesting keyboard passages in it, while 'If You Want Me 2' is a ballad of sorts which tries real hard to be Journey. Their best track 'Paint Me A Picture' is a dead ringer for Captive Heart, while 'Leave It Where It Is' ain't far behind. 'Heartbreaker' is unashamedly 80's that I can still visualize the big hair and MTV reruns vividly. |

Not a bad CD. Don't expect anything very heavy or overly amazing, but it's not bad. It's alot more pop oriented than the bands name or album cover would let on. I like the CD, although this band sucks something terrible live. |

The group was formed as a Deep Purple Tribute group and after extensive touring transformed into an orignal / classic rock artist with the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St Paul) as a base of operations. The group's material has been compared to the likes of Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Firehouse to name a few. |

Wow!!!,yes Sr!!!..enjoyable southern rock album with AOR sparks here and there and perhaps a little Hard Rock IMHO...for me the band sounds like acts such as Point Blank,38 Special,The Atlanta Rhythm Section,Lynyrd Skynyrd...great vocals(Rick Gingerelli)...songs?,"World Of Make Believe" a highlight, very good song,"If U Want Me 2" nice ballad,"Ship Of Dreams" excellent,"Sweet Mary" killer ballad,"Leave It Where It Is" catchy,"City Boy" wonderful track and one of the best in here,"Seventh Son" ok,unnecessary but it shows the skills of Mr Billy Thayer quite good anyway ![]() ![]() |
