This album is a must have for any Harlan Cage fan. It's passionate, moody and filled with great harmonies and plenty of big pompous AOR.

The songs are okay...but it never takes off for my tastes. A lot of good melodies mixed in with some serious zzzzzzzzzzzzz moments.

This is Melodic Hard Rock at its best, if you are a FORTUNE / HARLAN CAGE fan you'll enjoy this band as well! As you can tell by the cast of musicians listed, this band definitely ROCKS!

Everyone who has posted reviews has pretty much summed it up. This is awesome AOR thru & thru - good keyboards, good vocals, big fat choruses, etc. Fans of Journey, Foreigner, Asia, or Survivor should approve.

Tomcat... the song 'Made Up My Mind' is on MTM Music Vol. 6 CD. You can dowlaod it form the net cause as you said it is an excellent song!!! It's hard to tell which album is the best between this one and 'Roll Of The Dice'. Both are excellent pieces of melodic rock music!!!! Enjoy good music dudes!!!!

Typically I don't buy much into music like this. I need it to rock hard and long at least half the time. But something about this band has me hooked. This CD is a little like Bon Jovi's debut. The clean AOR sounds, the high energy, and the focus given to each song's growth is wonderful. Highlights here include Boat Out On The Water, We Took The Wrong Road, Your Razor Is Sharp, and the best was saved for last with Live For The Moment. I can't wait to hear more from these guys. 8/10

This is a fantastic album. I hadn't noticed though that the train's 'face' is an indian face. Funny I just noticed that.

I just have to say what a great album this is! Classic AOR that stands the test of time very well. The song 'You're So Cold' is just brilliant, all the tredemarks of good songwriting are there and it reeks of class. A must have in every self respecting AOR fans collection.

I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU BABY.

This is a very good album. Lots of soaring vocals and superb musicianship. Not sure that I can describe this music, but I know what I like and I like this album. Check it out for yourself. AOR at its finest.

The master of AOR is Roger!! All its productions are over the top!! Fortune - Harlan Cage & 101 South are the AOR cd's every AOR fan must have. Unfortunatly too many free downloading mp3 are killing the music & he won't produce others musics. So bad! 101 South & Roll of the dice are KILLING CD'S! Mega thanks for the dreams you bring to us.

Okay CD - the music is phenomenal, lyrics lack a little in my opinion. Sounds a bit like Bad English/Survivor.

Good AOR release, para el 2000 sin duda un buen album, Freeway Ride, Run Like a Tiger quiza muchos momentos lentos pero despues de todo esta bueno el album, mucha melodia.

Okay, I'll say it's better than 'Roll of the dice' but I can't do much better than that. Half of the songs are nice, very safe and extremely similar to Harlan Cage (the rest just suck, IMO). Not much variety in the songs and the song-writing, and it's very light, but I do admit I really like 'We took the wrong road.' Great song. 'Boat on the water', 'You're so cold' and 'She walks on water' are nice too. Just too polite for my likings. Decent album.

Like i wrote before. Freeway ride is a GEM of a song. But the rest, to me anyway, is kinda forgettable. It didnot sick so that says enuf for me. 7/10

Not much between this & "Roll of the Dice" for me, with neither being particularly great examples of the genre. Just as with Harlan Cage, this is all very samey. The first half is good & contains all the better tracks, but playing this thing from start to finish is a little painful. Decent AOR, no more no less. 6/10.

When I first heard this one I wasn't too impressed but this may be the biggest grower I've come across. I like it more with each new spin. The songwriting is consistant and fresh. They don't rock hard enough for some, but I'll say they sure have moments, particularly in 'We Took The Wrong Road' and 'Live For The Moment'. The vocals, keyboards and lyrics are this albums strong points and I prefer this to Roll of the Dice. Highlights here are tracks 12, 3, 6, 4, 8 and 1 in that order. 8.2/10

This is classy AOR sounding melodic rock like HARLAN CAGE crossed with GIUFFRIA. Loaded with catchy melodies, nice hooks and some very good songs. I love the bombastic sound that is like a harder JOURNEY at times....One of my personal favorites.

Very nice rather than a good debut release by 101 South...with former Fortune keyboard player Roger Scott Graig in it ...obviously nice means good somehow but i dunno...the song that really blew my mind was the last cut "Live For The Moment" and for the rest only "nice or pleasant ones" not any other "mind blowing" song in my book(sorry guys but tastes differ)...the other "nice" higlights for me are the rocking starter "Freeway Ride","Run Like A Tiger"(smoothie AOR),"We Took The Wrong Road"(great mid tempo),"Nowhere To Run"(catchy),"Casualty Of Love","Nobody Moves A Mountain" & "There's A Train Coming"...probably i need to give it some more spins like Kip did and said in his comment way back in September 15,2005 or like Geoff said in September 7,2005 except for saying than this one is better than teir follow up(in my case the appreciation is different, their "Roll Of The Dice" is great comparing to this)....still it gets a good rate o' mine though...86/100
