Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

If you notice that a particular Terra Nova CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Terra Nova are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The return of the Dutch band and their first album in 5 years. Terra Nova have always been a bit patchy with their releases for me. 'Livin' It Up' was a really great album back in '97, and since then a whole lot of mediocrity until 2005's really quite good 'Escape' album. The new 'Come Alive' record is pretty good in spots. Uptempo Opener 'Come Alive' tries to ape 'Livin' It Up' and succeeds pretty well (some lovely bouncy keys all over this one)and the rest is a mixture of the usual style rockers like ‘My Own Way’ or ‘Do Or Die’ and the ballads ‘The Final Curtain’ or ‘Those Eyes’ - 'Under Pressure' is pretty damned decent aswell. There are fillers on here, so it isn't perfect by a long way, but if you have enjoyed the band in the past, there is definitely stuff on here you will enjoy. One to keep an eye on. |

It's the last time I take a disc without a listening before.Fortunately I already traded it.This has the same Terra Nova style but the songs are all bad.Not recommend.I took instead of this one the last Stormwarrior cd(great band). |
