this is nasty idols going a bit more heavy, and this is a very good album..although like on all their releases i didn't like the ballads at all..andy pierce, the vocalist formed 'machinegun kelly" after this release and they sounded like on 'vicious' but with a more punk sound..still have to wait for 'united enemies" , his new project.. i you find one of the above mentioned items, don't hesitate to buy them..one of the swedish highlights from the nineties... nitrodoll1974@hotmail.com

They got heavier as they went along and there are not as many stand-outs on this one as the previous one, but there is still more than enough. Once again, if you like your head slammed against the wall due to constant pounding by heavy riffs, seek this out. Killer stuff and highly recommended. Check out 'Killing stuff' - awesome song, and the verses are almost a replica of 'Heartbreak Blvd' by Shotgun Messiah, an obvious influence for these guys.

Veryu very cool album, there is nothing glam about it, (back in the day i loved glam now it makes me sick) this is a cool sleazy hard rock album, very skid row slave to the grind feeling

From: 80sMetal1 Date: July 25, 2005 at 1:21
Now this cd just kicks maximum ass! Just straight ahead crunching razor sharp guitars and killer songs! When I first heard "Heads Down In Tinseltown", I said to myself: "Now here is some good kick-ass hard rock!" Just about every song on here is slammin', but my favs are R.I.P., Dance Of the Wicked, Killing Stuff, & Pretty Cut Wild. Just awesome kickin' heavy hard rock!

From: metalmaniac777 Date: February 16, 2011 at 11:56
With the word "Nasty" right there in the band's name, anyone expecting anything other than sleaze-fueled hard rock should definitely question their deductive skills. If you worship at the altar of aggressive attitude and heavy-hitting guitars, then this band may very well become your new god. Yep, these bad boys pack a vicious punch, but you'll thank for the abuse.

Edgy sound, more into straight rock territory and putting aside the AOR feel and Glammy Hard Rock postures..."Head's Down","Dance Of The Wicked","R.I.P.","Killing Stuff" & "Hellout Shakeout" are my faves...nothing like their second album "Cruel Intentions" of 1991!!! ....this one?.83/100

explosive sleazy hard rock music for NASTY IDOLS and a great release overall with a very strong guitar driven sound ,rough vocals and lots of attitude!"heads down (in tinseltown)","dance of the wicked","hellhouse" ,"black shot " are great songs indeed
