Sound and look very much like DANGER DANGER

From: M. Allen Date: September 12, 2001 at 15:38
This sophomore effort from NASTY IDOLS is leaps & bounds better than the sleaze-and-cheeze glammy debut. The guitars are bigger and sport more bite, the songs are better written, and the sound is just generally tougher. Plenty of hooks and big choruses in that late 80s/early 90s vein, with a style reminscent of RATT or NO RESPECT. Good stuff.

From: Peter W. Date: October 8, 2001 at 0:55
This glam/sleaze piece is ultra cool for it´s period. Nasty Idols made 3 albums and this one was absolute best. Great harmonies and melodies. A straight forward attitude. If you´re looking for good slease/glam. THIS IS IT!

From: Jimmy Woo Date: December 4, 2001 at 4:07
A band that had all the charistic stuff you needed for this kind of sleaze thing. Good songs and cool guitars. VERY COOL!

From: Johnny G. Date: December 17, 2001 at 3:59
Cool sleaze from the early `90. Reminds you of LA GUNS, ROXX GANG and Motley Crue. This is the best album the´ve made. Get it!

From: TheRipper Date: February 7, 2002 at 15:23
Great CD! All the way Nasty and Killer. Speaking of Nasty how come this site doesn't have the band Mr Nasty's '38 Calibur Kisses', there's another GEM. But anyway both are great, 10's all the way in my book. Well written songs that'll keep you raging, not like today's crap, (at least 85-900f it anyhow). This is no apologies straight a head rock, with the Sleazy/Glam edge, but it's far beyond the image. Get it. Also see my write-ups on Tigertailz's 'Young & Crazy', lets talk, Chakabri@aol.com

Killer Swedish Sleaze! However, their third release, Vicious, is even better.

From: David Date: April 24, 2002 at 7:49
Sounds more like Shotgun Messiah's first album than Danger Danger, just great!

From: Electric Roy Date: May 30, 2002 at 9:54
I Love the way Nasty Idols rocks! This summer they will release their unreleased album 'Heroes For Sale' from 1995...Yeah!

From: TIM Date: May 30, 2002 at 12:10
These guys are pretty good. I'd recommend them.

From: RichieRocker Date: June 28, 2002 at 21:37
These guys kick ass!! I love the ferociousness in their vocals. The guitar playing was very intense, and the drums were great also. I recommend these guysbecause they have a hard edge sound, that should please the auditory senses.Enjoy!!

From: RichieRocker Date: June 28, 2002 at 22:00

can't get you off my mind is a good ballad

From: nitrodoll Date: August 26, 2002 at 16:07
did ya know they did a video for 'trashed and dirty'? maybe the best song on the cd with 'american nights'? anyhow...it brings back memories of me having a summerjob and anxious to get out of the job to hit the swimming pool with my girlfriend...times go fast.. nitrodoll1974@hotmail.com

From: David Date: September 4, 2002 at 1:20
The production and vibe of this record is very similar to Guns 'n' Roses's Appetite for Destruction. I would love to say the songs are as good but they just arn't. Very good album!

From: Rene engelaan Date: October 13, 2002 at 7:14
The best NASTY IDOLS album is still there first 'Gigolos on parole' from1989, very expensive on cd today and very dificult to find too. Its a great album, much more glam then there other albumes. 'Gimme what i want' is my favorite song from the album. Also there is a cover song from ALICE COOPER on it, NO MORE MR.NICE GUY. (they made a better job than MEGADETH did covering that song). buy or die.

Hey everyone I got a question. I dig these swedish rock bands. I have all 3 shotgun messiah cd's I truley dig second coming. I was wondering what anyone could recommend by nasty idols or any other band of the same vein and cd to check out. peace.

From: David Date: November 25, 2003 at 3:37
Robert, the best Swedish hard rockers in my opinion are a band called Swedish Erotica. Their second album called 'Blindman's Justice' is one of my all-time faves. Most people will tell you that their first self titled album is their best, either way they are both SENSATIONAL!!

From: Kristian Date: November 25, 2003 at 5:09
I would definitely recommend this one, 'House of Rock n' Roll' is Mind-blowing! I haven't heard their other albums :-( Swedish Erotica 'S/T' is great, I don't like 'Blindman's Justice' though.

To put it simple, a must have for any respectable glam rock fan. Buy or die!

From: punkiz/bsesivo Date: October 6, 2004 at 5:16

From: Geoff Date: December 20, 2004 at 4:23
Now this is more like it! Sounds like they woke up for this release. Try to turn away after the opening riff on 'The way ya walk' hits you! F*cking killer! If you like Shotgun Messiah's 2nd CD, No Respect and the debut Swedish Erotica album you'll love this. Riff driven hard rock with barely a filler. I must hear them again, but one track on this or the next one is a direct rip-off of 'Heartbreak blvd', so the Shotgun Messiah reference is spot on. Killer album, 100 times better than the debut.

From: ALEXX GLAM Date: February 9, 2005 at 11:36
SOUND SO GOOD KILLER SONGS I LOVE IT

From: ALEXX GLAM Date: February 9, 2005 at 11:37

From: DAVID sleaze Date: April 29, 2005 at 0:56

Cool cd,high quality street rock!!

From: Pudelrockarn Date: March 4, 2007 at 11:18
Overrated.

From: juan carlos Date: July 15, 2007 at 14:04

From: aorluver Date: December 15, 2007 at 8:42
A typical grower, monotonous at first but after a while fine and melodic. Good production -they sound very american

From: DOUG Date: January 31, 2008 at 13:44
cool!!!!!!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 26, 2009 at 19:25
Very good album by a very underrated band but surely this one is one of the best Sleaze Glam/HardRock album that has emerged from Sweeden!!!...the band is awesome in all aspects (music, visual and composition),songs such as "Westcoast City Rockers","Thrashed % Dirty","House Of Rock'n'Roll","Don't Tear It Down","Alive N' Kickin'" are killer ones and "American Nights" is just amazing(this is the kind of song that Danger Danger,Winger or even Bon Jovi would have killed 2 have it recorded back in the day!)...get this album and enjoy it to death!.95/100

From: Helix Date: November 27, 2009 at 14:01
When listening to this cd there are times when the singer sound like tesla or even the sleeze beez, but all and all great cd.

From: MetaLWhore Date: March 5, 2014 at 13:00
Good Album. Voice is Like David Lee Roth.

From: hair metal again Date: September 14, 2021 at 9:15
excellent hard rock album for NASTY IDOLS back in 91 offering a solid sleaze sound with a commercial edge similar to bands like SHOTGUN MESSIAH or LA GUNS!"the way ya walk","cool way of living","trashed &dirty"and "cant get ya off my mind" are fine songs and overall a good album

From: P.ESPINOZA-SWE Date: March 8, 2023 at 6:01
Hi everybody! Peter Espinoza, guitarist in Nasty Idols here. Thank you so much for your kind words! I´m honored that so many liked the stuff i did with Nasty Idols for so many years! I hope you maybe heard the last album "KALIFORNIA" that we did before Andy Pierce sadly passed away. Very best wishes... Peter Espinoza
