If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Departure CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Departure are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

excellent follow up to the classic debut, dave baldwin is the hired singer this time and he proves to the rest of the guys that they did no wrong in hiring him as he does a commendable job throughout the whole album; as far as compositions go this one is also of a high quality not letting the side down at all.even though i admire dave baldwin's voice since the tradia days i would've loved to see this one sang by ken michaels(what a great voice this guy has!!).dont miss this one it's really good!!

This is all just a bit too polished and clean cut for my liking. Some nice tunes but it's all a bit sterile. Great musicians and voice of pure silk but it comes across that this is no more than a studio project. If you like your AOR polished til you can see your face in it then you'll probably love this. Only better than average for me. 7/10

Polished, yes, but classy to boot. Very good sophomore release where some bands have lost the edge from their debut. Not Departure, though. "Fair Warning" and "100 Midnights" are cutting edge hard rock but most of the tracks are classy AOR and very polished. Nothing wrong with a little polish.

Album 3 is their best and this one is a bit better than their self titled debut..."Fair Warning","Believer","100 Midnights","Destiny" & "Don't Need Love" are the best ones...still enjoyable to have...their so far 3 releases are kinda worth having...89/100

Had 100 Midnights on a sampler for decades and finally bought the album. I knew Dave, but was surprised so see Dean Fasano on some of the credits with the expected Mike Walsh...makes sense as Mike did some Message work too. I like Dave but I wish I could have an alternate reality where Dean sings some of these. There is so much quality around from the y2k days and the CD's can be bought pretty cheaply.
