If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Hard Rain CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Hard Rain are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

There are similarities and brief references back to older Magnum records and to the last Hard Rain album, but for the most part this is once again, an individual album. It is more pop than the last album - actually heavier in places but overall a little smoother and certainly more consistent in it's pace. A more pop and commercial feel. And back to a full band effort, after the debut featured Tony on all instruments.

A solid collection of tunes in a style not unfamiliar, but still breaking some new ground. Personal taste will dictate where it falls in the scheme of things as far as favorites - but regardless of it's position it's another great addition to the Clarkin/Magnum/Catley legacy.

Oh so bad. Just awful. What the HECK was Tony Clarkin thinking? The only thing here that retains a link to the Magnum sound is Bob's voice, but even that world class instrument cannot save this Pub Rock travesty. Bob quit after this album and started a wonderful solo career - GOOD DECISION BOB! Thankfully, TC found his marbles and Magnum stormed back with the excellent Breath of Life album. The next one (Brand New Morning) is due out this May! All together now... KEEP YOUR NIGHT LIGHT BURNING!!

If you're a Magnum fan and thinking of buying this, don't! This has nothing to offer in terms of anything remotely reminicent of Magnum exept Bob Catley's vocals and if you want to hear Bob sing buy his solo CD:s instead, they are all way better than this, or get hold of a copy of the Clive Nolan & Oliver Wakeman produced concept albums: Jabberwocky & The Hound of the Baskervilles where Bob sings parts.

I think this is not a typical HR/AOR music, that's why it's interesting. If you are a bit opened and don't have any expections, just want to listen to something really fine, I can recommend this one.

I Thought this was prety good when it was released, and they were good live when i saw them aswell. There are a few fillers on here, but also some quality, 'Rock Me In Ya Cradle' being my pick and the boy Bob sounds excellent as always. Ok, it ain't Magnum, but then, you've got plenty of Magnum cd's to listen to already haven't ya!!!

No es tan malo como parecía aunque no es bueno tampoco, es un disco irregular con mas fillers que buenos temas, coincido mas con los 2 últimos comments y sin dudas que "Rock Me in Ya Cradle" se lleva las palmas en ser la mejor, de ahi pues "No One Can Show You the Way" que si recuerda a Magnum y "Never Say Never" buena tambien, y agradan algo "Lightnin' Strikes" o la suave "Showtime" con trompeta incluida. Sorprende "An Ordinary Day" por la voz de Sue y con un aire a Alanis Morissete. 7.5/10
