I was pleasantly surprised with this cd and it's very consistent Hard Rock . . . . definantly a nice addition to a collection. . . . Well that's all I am commenting on for now so whoever goes to the download sites that try to find some of the tunes I mentioned cuz I am pretty sure You will like them.

A pretty good album, with songs that certainly make the grade, but there are a few times where it sounds a little same-ish and where Naro's vocals become a little overwhelming.

Phil Naro is an awesome singer and this CD rocks. The songs stick with you like gum to your shoes. We want more!!!

Got my copy today via hangloose.records. And just like the little cat wrote this is a very very nice surprise. Nice length of the songs, good songwriting. Real good muscianship. Quality hard rock ! Is the Bulletproof album just as good ?

I like this band. They remind me of Burning Rain. Not too similar in style, but both bands released 2 good solid albums of pretty straight forward hard rock with a couple of nice melodic ballady tunes on them. Nothing bad to say here, just good hard rock.

...just to add to above comment, this is actually quite a bit more melodic that I first thought. 'Standing in the middle' is a great melodic rocker, as is 'After the show' and 'Meeting this way' is a beautiful mid-tempo gem. 'Surrender' is cool too and these guys remind me a lot of current Von Groove (obviously), but this is much better than recent Von Groove CDs IMO. And I like Phil's vocals too.

Standing In The Middle is an amazing melodic rock anthem! After The Show is a good and catchy song but the lyrics is so cheesy it almost gets embarrassing. The rest is not good and the production is very mediocre.

Pretty good album, acceptable by all means..."Black Sheep" & "Masquerade" rock good,"Call Out My Name" is a nice one and "Meeting This Way","After The Show","Surrender In The Name Of Love"(whatta a title! ) & "Now's The Time" are top notch undoubtebly...Phil Naro did some great singing stuff here...85/100

Surely not pure gold, "only" agreeable hard aor rock. The album represents a head-on collision between both members' groups - Von Groove and Naro. I sometimes feel taste of Scorpions or MSG on one side and Reo Speedwagon on the other side of the coin. The album could have been excellent because both songs and the singer have potentiality but the production is rather flat and knocks down the standard of the whole album. And that's a pity. 75/100.

excellent debut by 24K and how could it be other way with those 2 great hard rockers involved!Naro &Mladen and great and they prove that with a great commercial hard rockin sound that will satisfy the die hard fans!imagine a more dirty VON GROOVE sound and you ll get an idea of what to expect!"standing in the middle","meeting this way","gypsy in me" and "surrender in the name of love" are great songs!essential
