| a great band that never got the credit they deserved. this cd is better than their second entitled, "skin" but both are worth owning. the song, "blackened" on the skin cd is the best song about repeatedly going back to a negative relationship ever recorded. great vocals!

| I don't with steve t, i think this is an absolute classic! Just jammed packed with killer songs! I haven't heard any White Sister stuff but if this is anything to go by they will be a great band. I'm not scared about saying this is the closest thing you'll get to the exellent GIANT!, that's right I said GIANT. This Dennis Churchil Dries can hit a serious note, what a shit hot singer, does anyone know anything about him, he sounds like a clone of Dann Huff of GIANT.

I actually have this CD. On top of that, I even play it from time to time. I saw the cover and just had to buy it. Dennis has a VERY strong voice and I could see this band going over really well in a hick bar. I'm not to big on the up beat songs, but their mellow stuff is not to bad. When you are home alone some night and you are stinkin' drunk, throw this CD on and you will more than likely sing along to it (not that I would know or anything....)

| The two big ballads are good, but the most of the other material sounds like second rate Skynyrd. Which isn't a totally bad thing.

| I saw the "Been Your Fool" video on a Tuesday. I bought the CD on Wednesday, and hair bands died on Friday. Too bad. An EXCELLENT album both vocally and instrumentally. Opposed to most bands of this genre are concerned....these guys really had talent.

| This album for me is best foir the ballads - real great soulful tunes - The rest is good hard southern rock, sometimes they even sound funky like Extreme. The ballad "Let me be the one" is one of the best of all time - truelly wonderful.

| Great bluesy rock album from the ex White Sister members - don't go expecting the album to sound like them or you will be dissapointed, although there are 3 tracks here that were going to be on the 3rd WS cd namely 'Everybody Wants' 'Tell Me Why' and 'One Way Love' which are all excellent and much more in the Melodic rock vein of previous WS albums. . Dennis Churchill is an amazing vocalist and the other band members back him up admireably throughout. Reccomended

| both albums are classic but the first can give any band of the early 90s who had this style a run for their money. as good as the debuts by the black crowes, london quireboys or blackeyed susan. should have gotten more credit. contains the minor hit been your fool plus even smaller hits let me be the one and everybody wants what shes got. great southern feeling rock. not too many bands out there like this anymore if any since the black crowes are on break. stop reading and buy it. get the 2nd to

| Just an OK release in the great metal world. Some of the songs are a bit too country for my metallic taste. I've never been a big fan of country-metal. The song "Shotgun Johnny" is a sweet metal track. A CD worth owning for metal collectors, like myself.

| This album is AWESOME!!! A must for all metal/rock/blues music fans. Get it in your collection now!!! Have to agree with David above: - rates highly alongside the equally great Giant (thought it was just me!) Enjoy. PS: - Far better than the eagarly awaited second album Skin.

| I am the drummer for W.S and T.R!!!!!!!! We play what we feel and are not into hick music!!LOL!! THANK YOU so much for your interest in our music.I am really dissapointed that we did not do better in the big rock world.We tried are asses off to make good music and be real to ourselves and our fans.We really appreciate all the support!! | I dunno. I had been wanting to hear something from these guys because they sound right up my alley. I heard "Been Your Fool" the other day on the fabulous XM radio channel for this sort of thing ... and it wasn't all that. THe singer seemed to think he was hot stuff, but wasn't. That yodeling part in the middle, OUCH! Painful.

| GO MJ GO!! This is a Bad album. had i been released by anyone other than White Sister it would have been better recieved. A totally different style and to be honest too big a departure from the pomp for most fans liking. The follow SKIn is also quite good. Dennis Churchill can sing the phone book and make it work.

| Hey the front cover says *TATTOO RODEO*, not WHITE SISTER. If it was gonna sound like White Sister, it'd have WHITE SISTER printed on the cover! Ya know what, I've never even heard White Sister, and I don't care, cos I love this record. Anyway this album rules, my pick is definately Everybody Wants What She's Got; great anthem! The second album was much more like Black Crowes whilst this is more like Sister Whiskey. Great for fans of Little Caesar, Blackeyed Susan, Sister Whiskey etc.

| Aero Force I know it says Tattoo Rodeo and I personally dont care either way. There are alot of people however that preferred White Sister and the change is too difficult to handle. It is like Angel reforming and releasing a death metal album. Regardless of good it is peoples preconceptions get in the way. You should listen to White Sister by the way, they really were great!!

| I just picked this one up (in the used section) two days ago.I saw it at the cd store a few months ago now I wish I bought it then!I haven't put it down.If you like the band "Tangier", you will enjoy Tattoo Rodeo.This album is absolutely great.There is not a dull moment on it.I don't care if grunge music became popular around this time, this cd should have been able to run over and crush the grunge scene.Oh well.Does anyone have any pictures of this band or know of a site were some can be found?

| Although not too big a fan of southern flavoured hard rock, I must admit I really like this CD. The three ballads are all excellent, and 'One way love' is a great melodic rocker. No, it ain't White Sister's debut, but I prefer it to the second White Sister album. Good solid hard rock.

| This is a great album, with a sound similar to Southgang. Killer songs and the lead singer is awesome. A highly recommended cd that can be found cheap, which makes it even better.

| I just listened to this all the way through for the first time (bought it for $3 the other day). I like it, it's nothing new or different, just good rockin' music with some southern and blues influences. Almost reminds me of a less heavy Sweet FA or something. Definitely worth it at the price as BT mentions.

| Never heard these guys, but I recently bought a cheap DVD called 'Back For Revenge' starring C. Thomas Howell, and I believe the movie is called 'Kid' in U.S. It had a true Hard Rock soundtrack, including a great song called 'Restless Heart' by Tattoo Rodeo playing during the end credits. Well, I guess that's unreleased. By the way, it also had some other great sounding songs, and I was shocked when I heard Skull's 'I Like My Music Loud' in it. It's a shame there was no soundtrack released...

| i like this one, because it's a bit different than most of the records from this time. melodic hard rock with elements of southern rock and blues. my favs: Everybody Wants What She's Got, Shotgun Johnny, One Way Love and Down.

| I just got this one, so I'm not going to give it a full review yet, but on the first listen, most of the standout tracks are in the first half, and the ballads are teh better songs. The rockers seem a little too slick, somehow. As for the singer, he spends the disc aping Jon Bon Jovi and Steven Tyler, and to say that he overemotes, would be polite. Goddamn, dude, forget about all the put-on blues mannerisms and just sing!

| I found this album for a very low price(a dollar 2 be precised!)and it blew my mind immediately..like some comments stated above this band was put together after the breaking up of that marvellous band called White Sister by members of it...the best tracks are "Strung Out" is a very cool track,","Been Your Fool" is a killer ballad..."Sweet Little Vicky","Ain't No Reason Why","Blonde Ambition","One Way Love" & "Hard Like A Rock" are awesome tracks,the best in here..."Love Shuffle" is also a highlight..if u are into bands such as The Quireboys,Thunder,Giant and Whitesnake then Tattoo Rodeo will suits you fine.90/100

| Oh yeah, this was definitely aimed at the hair-metal crowd. But you can't ignore that it's hair-metal dressed up as southern-rock. There's piano, organ, slide guitar, and Dennis Churchill Dries singing from an affected southern persona, making it immediately different from the straight-up lipstick-and-spandex metal of 1991. You would never mistake this for Pretty Boy Floyd or BulletBoys. Compared with other hair-metal bands of the day, there's a smoothness and laid-back feel about Tattoo Rodeo, that makes people think more of southern rock.

| This is basically a band doing an entire album's worth of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Warrant. Sure, they vary the grooves and throw in some requisite "broken-hearted" ballads, but the songs essentially all boil down to a cornpone variation on late-80's arena rock: slide guitar intros galore, honky-tonk piano, pretentious Southern vocal accent, and lyrics about drankin' and smokin' and sleezy young juke-joint missies shakin' what their mamas gave 'em -- Faux-Southern good ol' boy roadhouse heaven. Wouldn't be too bad if it all didn't come off as so affected and hokey; considering Dennis Dries' previous work with White Sister it's not hard to question the insincerity of it all -- just capitalizing on the fleeting "Rockers-as-Cowboys" trend that Bon Jovi, et al. exploited so well at the time. Too bad, I like Dennis' voice a lot (that is, without the hillbilly drawl.) A couple acceptable tunes, otherwise derivative, silly and dated. 65 / 100.

| Man, every time I revisit this disc, the more phony and contrived it sounds, and the more I agree with Reverend Mayhem's comment above. These pomp-rock clowns were just guessing. You put this on with the Four Horsemen's Nobody Said It Was Easy--faux southern-rawk songs written by an Englishman and sung by a New Yorker--and the Horsemen come out on top every single time, by a country mile. Hair-metal for Wal-Mart cowboys.
