Oh dear. I've generally been a big fan of this band and was very pleased to see them back, but then I heard the album. "Save the Heart" is great, nice keyboard touches & an excellent chorus. "All that I See" is another winner, an acoustic tune with great melodies. Most of the rest is crap. The main problem being that the band are just trying to cover as many bases as possible with this disc, and every tune sounds different to the previous one. Some of the modern rock tunes are just awful. 4/10. |

I actually sort of like this one. Not a scratch on 'V', but decent. The first 6 tracks are good to great, the last 4 are awful. The first two are great melodic rockers in true Return style, 'All that I see' is a nice ballad, 'Mr President' is a killer rocker and musically one of the best on the disc (except for the pathetic solo), and I can even handle the punkish 'TV song', which is bad but I don't mind it. The last 4 songs are really bad though, but a decent first 6. Recommended to fans. |

Very disappointing return from Return ! I'm afraid this is not good at all. There are way better releases these days ! |
