I bought this cd for the presence of Danny Vaughn in Three songs, Medicine man and Thunder nation are my favorites together with All out of love. Also the rest of the cd is pleasant influenced by Dokken in the hardest songs, plus some melodic ballads. Escape label sometimes make great choices(I am a fan of Silent Witness and Jester). Hey Ronnie is time for a follow up.

When I first heard this album, I thought it was from the late 80's. How suprised I was when it turned out that it wasn't... It's an okay album yhat I would have killed for back then, but now it can't compete with all the others in the wonderful universe of heavy metal.

From: Jay Date: August 17, 2004 at 21:35
It is a compilation of songs written and performed live many times in the clubs of New York in the 80's. It dosen't do us justice.

I don't mind this one - a bit of harmless melodic rock fun. Yeah, it's not great but I've heard a lot worse. Good solid CD, even if it's not spectacular.

GRANDISSIMI!!!POI IL PRIMO PEZZO E'QUALCOSA DI MERAVIGLIOSO....

This has always been an enigma to me. Who the hell is Ron Wilde and why does he know so many people, who is Jay and who sang in the clubs? One thing that is less perplexing is the album sonically. It's great! I've had it for 7 years. For me Jay Fischer has a great voice a highlight being "Picking up the Pieces". The tremendous 'All out of Love" reminds me of speedin' on the 10 East bound getting the Hell out of LA!. Vaughn's tracks and Deutsch' are great too with "Eyes of Wonder" a fav. 8/10

From: Metalmusicman Date: December 30, 2006 at 17:25
While this might not be the best piece of melodic rock, it does have some very exciting moments. "Picking Up The Pieces" is just absolutely stellar, as is "All Out Of Love". The three songs that Danny Vaughn does guest vocals on are standout tracks as well. Unfortunately, some of it is very average at best. Still a fun and enjoyable disc, but not essential.

The truth behind this album (well the Danny Vaughn tracks anyway) is that Allied Forces was originally a covers band way back in the day before Waysted and Tyketto. Years later Danny worked with Wilde on some new tracks for fun that they agreed they would release for charity somehow. Wilde then released them on this disc without Dannys blessing, and used Dannys name to promote it. Danny once told me not to buy it as it was supporting someone who had been dishonest. This is why Danny later released the tracks for free via his website!

Wow this band has an enormous Triumph influence(the rocky side of Triumph) and vocally Mr Fischer is very Rik Emmett alike at times...as some statements above say,Danny Vaughn(Tyketto) was involved here as a guest vocalist..."Allied Forces" good & solid starter,"Medicine Man" rocks very good,"Thunder Nation" is a nice yet powerful ballad,"Picking Up The Pieces" has nice & brilliant catchy choruses,"All Out Of Love" kills,"On The Run" is a rocking AOrish one, pretty good by the way,"Party" also rocks,"Stand By Me" is strongly Triumph influenced song & "Take Me Away" closes the story in a very good way... for fans of the rocking side of Triumph...also for people who like RTZ band...90/100
