Decent cd, but I liked Kingdom Come better. This went a little overboard with the keyboards. Great tunes, but too many keys. Tone it down a little guys.

From: T-BONE Date: September 22, 2002 at 6:34
Yes...alot of keyboards on this cd, but still in the same boat as the first cd. Great AOR/Hard Rock. I'd have to say I liked the first one better also. Banging Like A Drum is a great tune.

From: M. Allen Date: September 30, 2002 at 22:08
Yes, there are some keys on this CD, but fear not, this is guitar-driven melodic hard rock, not keyboard-driven (thank God). I'll agree with the guys above that the band's debut, "Kingdom Come," was a superior album, but this sophomore effort is nearly as good. The hooks & harmonies the band showcased on "Kingdom..." are back, making this album one that should be checked out by fans of Wicked Sensation, Zardoz, Talon, & bands of that ilk.

From: Rycheage Date: July 1, 2003 at 21:49
Album number two fro Dreamhunter sees the band pick up where they left off, with another collection of highly catchy infectious rockers, with their own classic stadium hard rock style. There is no doubting the guys can write great songs with plenty of great melodic rock hooks, with this album full of them. If you liked the debut, this is an essential purchase, but the difference in production quality must dictate that the debut album is still the stronger of the two releases.

I do like this album but there are a lot of riffs borrowed from other bands like Foreigner,Honeymoon Suite and Bon Jovi.

From: ROBERT Date: October 30, 2003 at 12:44
PA MI gusto bastante flojiyo... aver si le pegamos otra escuxiya...

From: Roxas Date: January 5, 2004 at 4:14
This album is superb, both dreamhunters realeses are pure melodic rock class...excellent. Although to be honest they can take a few spins to really shine. Listening to this disc pissed is a wonderful experience especially track 2 and 8! 2004 and time for a new album, come on guys where is it. Sign with a new label if need be...

From: Scandinavia Date: June 23, 2004 at 11:46
"Kingdom Come" was better IMO... Generally they try too much to sound like Bon Jovi but they do it good!

From: Kip Date: August 29, 2004 at 2:04
Some classic tunes here but overall an uneven album with some yukky filler. If you are like me and will buy a CD if it has a killer tune or two, fear not! This is worthy of purchase. Standout tracks include the catchy Can't Face Another Night, the grandiose City Of Angels, the infectious Banging Like A Drum, the upbeat Braveheart, and in my opinion, the best song on the CD, the rockin' melodic, heart felt The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter. Some bad songs bring down the rating though. Overall a 7/10

From: Geoff Date: August 29, 2004 at 20:54
I really liked the debut and I feel the same about this release too. Great melodic hard rock, even though it's a little rougher than the debut. 'Can't face another night' is splendid melodic rock, even if I'm not completely taken by the chorus - wonderful verses though. Other than that the CD is a little patchy, but a good melodic hard rock disc anyway, from a good band I'd like to hear more of.

From: Big Mike Date: October 11, 2004 at 12:18
This is a great Album. Better than the first. Rare high calibre melodic song writing.

From: Big Mike Date: February 9, 2005 at 21:37
This album is not Metal but more hard edged than Bon Jovi. Does taper off toward the end but has 5 or 6 high quality tracks in the first 8

From: Erik Date: February 10, 2005 at 1:44
Cool melodic rock. Good solid effort. Best songs: Cant face another night, The heart is a lonely hunter, Bad attitude , Dangerous game and This time its for real. 7,8/10

From: z4roxx Date: February 10, 2005 at 12:16
unfortunately poor production for a killer cd,IMO.Thease guys are great, stunning melodies,I love this band because I love Honeymoon Suite and they sound very very similar to them...I recommend these 2 killer cd's....great band!

From: rocknroll Date: June 16, 2005 at 18:22
This album is 8,5/10. Pure melodic hard-rock the way we like, if you like the first album from this awsome band buy this one, because it is worthy every euro!! This is one of the best swedish rock bands ever

From: wzcj02 Date: May 22, 2006 at 14:25
guys come back....we want more

From: aorteto Date: October 25, 2006 at 14:33
I really really love this one, tipical scandie band and sound ( I don't care about production ). I like all the songs, but CITY OF ANGELS, BANGIN' LIKE..., CAN'T FACE ANOTHER...,THE HEART IS ... and GIMME YOUR LOVE TONIGHT are great. A pitty they broke-up.

From: george_the_jack Date: April 7, 2007 at 19:21
This is how to play melodic hard rock...This is simply the legacy of melody and feeling in hard rock music....A must have together with their 'kingdome come' debut!!!! PAY ATTENTION!

From: juan carlos Date: June 8, 2010 at 16:37
Great Melodic Rock/AOR indeed but the production is the big problem here, if it doesn´t bother you then this is a Must! "Gimme Your Love Tonight"(My Favorite track!), "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter"(Chris Ousey clon?), "Can't Face Another Night" "City of Angels" "Braveheart" and "Dangerous Game" are my favorite tracks. Music: 95; Production: 80. Rating: 88/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 21, 2011 at 19:23
Wow if "Kingdom Come" was a pleasant debut album then this one is a must have!!!...great songs all over without any shadow of a doubt ..."Bad Attitude","Can't Face Another Night"(nice smooth),"City Of Angels","Gimme Your Love Tonight"(nice soft),"banging Like A Drum"(catchy),"The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter"(catchy)& "Dangerous Game" are my faves....just get this a.s.a.p.!!!....89/100

From: hair metal again Date: January 30, 2018 at 5:20
excellent release for DREAMHUNTER with dozens of hooks and great lines, along with some decent musicianship and warm ,heartful vocals!there s nothing missing here and this one is another indie hard rock release that shows the depth of that genre !"bad attitude","cant face another night","city of angels" and "gimme your love tonight" are great songs and overall a must have
