The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Newman CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Newman are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

excellent released from this English AOR/melodic rock group. RECOMMENDED

From: Andy Date: September 14, 2003 at 14:14
Polished AOR not unlike 'Jeff Canneta' pomp-ish, style-ish and very MELODIC with clever use of restrained keyboards.BUY.

From: Rycheage Date: September 15, 2003 at 16:48
Excellent AOR pomp. "Save Me Tonight", "Last Known Survivors", and "You Should Be Gone" are polished gems. "Watching You" is an awesome ballad which reminds me of British flavored AOR. All in all, an excellent CD from Newman. 9.0/10.

This is not pomp, it is just high quality British melodic rock

Never a poor moment from the Newman camp, and this ensures that status is kept. The first song is a killer melodic hard rocker and sets the mood. The next three drop in quality, but by the time 'You should be gone' hits there is no looking back. Every single song inclusive and after is excellent, ending up with the beautiful, moving ballad 'Worlds apart'. One of my fave tracks and a real tear jerker ,but for excellence! Hugely recommended release!

Judging by the picture in the back cover, Steve looks like the actor Alan Rickman (the main bad guy from the best movie ever,Die Hard)

A good album but not as good as the previews one "Dance In The Fire" IMHO but still manages to be considered another good shot by Newman(a band that the word "bad" seems to be out of their personal dictionary)..."Save Me Tonight","Last Known Survivors","You Should Be Gone","Heart V Desire","What You Do To Me" & "Sign Of The Modern Times" easily in everybody's book ...85/100
