From Crimson to U.K. to Asia, Wetton's been in so many different roles that a solo album might be accompanied by a sense of curiosity: "What it's going to sound like?" Well, Wetton plays it nice and safe on "Voice Mail" ("Battle Lines") and the end result is a strong collection of AOR tracks that could have easily been written for an Asia record. Recommended.

Also called "Battle Lines", definitely a must, a masterpiece, with average production and composition.

I was impressed with this CD. Great songwriting. The best post-Asia album he has put out. Also, pick up 'Arkangel', it's almost as good as this one. But has anyone heard 'Sinister'??

From: Gar Date: January 5, 2003 at 22:37
Haven't heard SINISTER yet, but I agree with you about this one and ARKANGEL. Both albums are tremendous. His songwriting has never been better.

This is a great find! Just love it. Great songs and a good production. Now I have to look up some more Wetton solo gems!
