2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update
Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're
at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars
have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs
are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses.
The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the
year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and
keeps the lights on.

| This is a great sampler of his pre-ASIA work. The only surprise for his die hard fans is "Eyesight to the Blind". That song is very hard to find elsewhere.

| Those who like Wetton primarily for his Asia stuff might have a bit of a hard time with some of this. His "Caught in the Crossfire" disc (from which 6 of these tracks are taken) is like the foetus of an Asia album. You can make out the head and arms but the rest is still undefined. The UK and Crimson material on this CD is a good roadmap of where John has been to this point. But whether it satisfies Asia/AOR fans is another story...

| Ok Prog/Atmospheric AOR, "Baby Come Back" is my favorite track that caught my complete attention since the beginning, Wetton´s vocal is the best here. 7.5/10
