I think this is his best album. Good production, quality songs. His golden voice is awesome on this one. One of my favorites!

This is John's first Asia-sounding project away from Asia. 'Caught in the Crossfire' (1980) had a few pub rock inflections, while 'Wetton/Manzanera' was an over-slick and generally soul-less project. So when this came out, I was highly impressed. Still his best solo work to date: 'Space and Time' features the Jim Peterik songwriting knack and it's brilliant. The upbeat 'Jane' has keyboards right off 80's sports shows and news broadcast intros. Some of Wetton's best ballads are on here too! A+

I'M AGREE WITH YOU JOURNEY, STEVE LUKATHER IS THE BEST!! Nice to see him collaborating with the also great artist John Wetton. Toto and Asia are favorites bands of mine.

For starters, the opener 'Right Where I Wanted To Be' is a great way to fire up. When you get to listen to 'Jane', you know this album is gonna be something special. An awesome piece of AOR. You'd have to say 'Sea Of Mercy' is very close to perfection too. However, my own personal favorites are the pair of 'Space And Time' and the keyboard-laden 'Walking On Air'.

This one is on my 'Top 10 Of All Time' album list. If only more AOR came close to this quality I'd be a much happier person. It's hard to pick any favorites as the whole album is so good but 'Jane' & 'You're not the only one' feels like a good choice. Nothing beats his vocal perfomance on 'Battle Lines' thou, Magic!

A great great album and without a doubt JW's best studio album (amongst the millions of live albums). Straight down the line AOR is what you get here, slickly produced and played by a list of musos to die for (The God Lukather is on here, so it must be good). Hard to pick a favourite on this one, but if you force me 'Sea Of Mercy' just nicks it by a whisker. Following albums were good (except the very average 'Sinister') but nowhere near this one. Mighty mighty my friends.

Now this is a good one. The first 3 tracks are all awesome slabs of AOR and a perfect start to the album. I do think this album gets bogged down with ballads (even though they're all okay) and it's not until the awesome 'Space and time' that I sit up and take notice again. 4 killer tracks and the ballads are nice, especially the beautiful closer. I'd have preferred a few more rockers (as they're easily the highlights), but this is a very good AOR disc.

Another great album, supremes melodies that remind me the best Asia moments. I miss the Prog vein but Wetton was full inspired!! Classic.

Great and wonderful melodies is what we have here, ballads and slow songs, but whith high quality and for nothing boring, tracks like Jane,Battle lines,Hold me now(what an epic song)and Space and Time(pure AOR!),think about the guests here, only magic, magic from this dream team,9/10.

This is up with the Asia albums & is the best of his solo albums that I've heard. Strong songwriting with the help of Bob Marlette who seems to have been involved with a lot of quality releases. No duffers on this & the highlights are "Battle lines", "Sea of mercy", "Hold me now", "Space & time" & "You're not the only one"
