A lot of people really hate the cd but personally I think it's a lot of fun and while the vocals are far from stellar they're snotty and abrasive and they work. |

Somebody finally submitted this gem after 25 years. Jesse Camp takes a note from the Vanilla Ice playbook reinventing his background from 'in reality' suburbs, to a homeless "street Kid", to MTV VJ. It was discovered that he had been raised and attended private school from the mean streets of upscale Connecticut. He exploited a security flaw in the system with the MTV call in VJ contest, voting 3,000 times for himself. Positive note, Camp convinced MTV executives to let him book acts such as Ratt, Sebastian Bach as guests on his summer series "Lunch with Jesse" at a time when these artists were years past their prime rotation on the channel. Rolling Stone gave the album 1/5 stars writing: "most of the time it's simply irritating, since Camp's singing is every bit as grating as his persona. The album featured session musicians to obscure Camp's vocals and limited musical ability. The Riki Rachtman of his time. Jesse Camp - See You Around https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxqqcoTRT0s |
