Don't think you can call this pure AOR, therefore it's too laidback and too soft. It's more kind of pop. Not exactly my cup of tea, although I have to admit that mr. Winger has a lot of talent. But I hope for a new swinging Winger record, with the band, not this solo records, which are in fact a bit boring. |

I think it's good, not boring at all. |

Lush and atmospheric yet a very mature release. Much like "thisconversation...." yet more mature songwriting if that's possible as the last one was very mature and quite good. This is better. "Cross", "Crash The Wall" and "Landslide" are pure genius but the real gem here is "Resurrection". Fantastic stuff but nowhere near Winger's stuff from a sound aspect. This again is lighter. Well worth the price. |

Interesting effort, solid and mature, but not as good as his outstanding "conversation seems like a dream". Highlights:"landslide, broken open, everything you need" |

A really good album from an outstanding songwriter! Kip Wingers continues to amaze! |

Experimental and very personal release by Kip...do not expect songs ala "Headed For A Heartbreak" or "Blind Revolution Mad" in here...for me this album is quite effective for relaxation ..."Cross","Two Lovers Stand","Landslide","Broken Open","Resurrection" & "Everything You Need" are good ones...an album only for open minded listeners,i believe...80/100 |

Kip Winger plays art rock. Too soft to call it hard rock, too sophisticated and varied to call just pop rock. IMO better than a puzzled attempt of Strangeways' "And the horse" but weaker and less lively than eg Genesis' "Calling all stations". Overall, really mature but a bit slow n'monotonous. 70/100. |

Have to be in the right mood for this one. I give credit for Kip for trying different things. |

excellent release as expected by Kip ...i adore everything he s done and a consider him a great artist!this one goes far from his hard rock routes and its quite experimental ,but has a fantastic vibe and songwriting!open minded hard rockers will dig it for its quality ! |
