This really did Mr. Winger no favors. I woudl not buy again. Sorry but guess I 'm partial to early Winger releases. 67/100 |

very good CD 85/100 intelligent modern piece of AOR/PROG rock and a must have for those who need some "soft but well crafted music " in between 2 headbanging or sing along session ! This one is for me , better than the WINGER IV and the gifted talent of KIP is obvious ! BUY or listen to crap music instead ! |

AOR? Prog? Not all. Very Pace, laid back and Dark moody songs, sometimes sleepy. Kip does a great job as always but musically i donīt dig this album so much, well it has a great production and good melodies but itīs not my kind of stuff, i mean Eastern Chant, sax etc.. "Where Will You Go" is a great piano ballad āla Beatles, "Pages and Pages"(Very intimate song), "What We Are", "California", "Runaway" and "Why" are good though. 7.5/10 |

This release did wonders for the singer, songwriter, & musical credibilities for Kip. Had this been released under the moniker of Winger, then it would not have held any water because most people (myself included) want to hear hair metal from them. So, if a musician decides to strike out on their own to explore new musical directions & do so under their own name, then more power to them. Basically, that's what solo albums are for. Good job Kip. |

Quite good album, perhaps too experimental for the "die hard" fans of Mr Winger. To categorize this album is a difficult task because solo albums are kind of personal and in this case Kip mixed some elements like sax and even some electronic drums."Where Will You Go"(beautiful) as Remastered Reason said has some Beatles feel 2 it.Anyway if you want to sit back with a nice glass of wine in your hand, listen 2 this album...80/100 |

This great musician was born to 'break the silence'! What a great album it is and I really blame myself for not giving this the attention it deserved all these months. Here we have to do with a mellow/prog/melodic rock release with extraordianaire musicianship, huge arrangements and production.90/100 with no hesitation to recomend it to evryone who loves good melodic rock! |

good release by the mighty KIP WINGER!Kip s works are always of the highest level of musicianship and always achieves a certain vibe full of mellow emotions.of course his identity will always remain the first 2 WINGER hair metal masterpieces but his solo career had always been exceptional.i ve been into his music from 89 and i aint gonna stop now |

I agree with hair metal again. This is an outstanding release. Especially considering this was release in 2008. There is no trace of modern sound, or alternative or rap or any of the other crap that passes for "music" nowadays. I have always loved Kip's voice and songwriting, and this cd is no exception. Mr. Winger is really a world class songwriter and singer. The emotion that comes through in his songs are just hard to describe. If you are strictly into rock/hair metal, you won't like this. But, if you love Kip's voice like I do, go get this. Yes, it is laid back, and no, you can't bang your head to it, but the craftsmanship that went into these songs really shines through, and as I said, Kip's voice is in top notch shape (as always!). There are a couple songs with Beatles influences in them, and that is not a plus for me, but the songs are still good. I just can't say enough good about Mr. Winger's music and voice and how much I have enjoyed his work over the years. |

Although, when this page first loads, the ancient image of Kip with no shirt on doesn't do much for me! Dan, maybe you need an updated pic. |
