|Poor second effort from this British band. Check out their 'Stakk Attakk' debut to find out what they are really capable off!!

|These guys had a lot more attitude than talent. The production values are low, the guitars are thin, and the singer sounds like an average Joe. Not worth the big bucks these CDs fetch on ebay. It goes to show that it takes more than misspelled song titles, hairspray, and makeup to make a decnt CD.

|This is awesome! I loved Stakk Attakk but this blew me away. Their 3rd record (Delirium) is even better! Similar to 1st Poison & Pretty boy floyd. Rocky Shades (singer) is definitely not an 'average Joe' because I don't know anyone who sounds like him, and sure the guitarist is no Eric Clapton but Lance's riffs are some of the coolest sounds you'll ever hear. I'm from America so I never saw them live and wish they would get back together, come over here and make it big like they should have.

|For the uninitiated (and this includes those who don't understand glam metal/cock rock or dismiss it as simple rubbish) what you need to understand is that we didn't care that we couldn't play 'arpeggio sweeps in the pentatonic scales' at a million miles per m.p.h. It was about the parties, the girls, the drugs (for some), and the fun. Not about who could play the better solos. It was about the song. That is why bands like Poison and Pretty Boy Floyd stole your girlfriends.

|They wrote catchier songs. It's plain and simple. It's 2002 and there is absolutely no reason to stay bitter. Wrathchild (U.K.), along with the Tattooed Love Boys, and London Quireboys, were the British equivelant to the afore-mentioned bands. All makeup, hooks, and bringing the party. What intrigues me about is the blatant OI! and streetpunk leanings of bands like this. You need to look no further than the cover of Gary Holton's Heavy Metal Kids song, 'She's No Angel' (ably covered by...

|Michael Monroe on a solo album years later) to know that they were influenced by some of those skinhead and OI! bands. Another great example being Slade. Cock Sparrer(a legendary and in my opinion the best OI! band ever)'s early stuff was as glam sounding as you can get as well. These guys weren't the sissies you thought they were. They mostly came from tough working class backgrounds and found an escape and a way to attract the ladies. For this reason alone combined with the sheer catchiness of

|the songs made them fun at the time and even more fun today. Viva le glam metal and cock rock and I wish there were more of the same out there today.

|Bought this album in good faith since I'm a big fan of 80s glam...Boy, these guys got it all wrong! Total waste of money! Both from my pocket and from the record label! There oughta be a law 'gainst puttin' out such shitty releases...Well, at least they're glammy to look at...Only positive thing about Wrathchild I guess... Avoid at all costs! You'll only get depressed from such a weak album...

|I totally agree, Scandinavia ! Yes, I also like different things, but what I want to say to some people is the following : listen if a band can play their instruments, if they can write a real song etc. Nothing more ! I can understand that people like a band because they give 'em a good feeling or fun. But that does not mean they're musically a great band ! I want quality, not only fun. And admit : most glam bands can't play their instruments, most punk or punk/pop bands can't too ! Good night !

|Nice to hear so Freddy! Seems like we agree on most terms...As you've probably thought yourself it's the everlastin' dispute 'bout different points of view (In this case regarding music) that ticks off most people in here (Anywhere actually), you too. Some like it for the 'feel' some like it for the quality. That's an equation that has no true result. I'm sure you have the same point of view: What I like is fine for me & what everybody else likes is fine for them...But the discussions really...

|she's no angel, was that song on the michael monroe 'not fakin' it?????i got that album but i believe it's a total other song...i always thought they (wratchild) ripped that tune from the pretty boy floyd demos...it's almost the same as rock n roll is gonna set the night on fire...anyhow, this is a pretty cool cd but the best glamact from england was SOHO ROSES and tigertailz..

|Far superior to Stakk Atackk but band lost a lot of momentum between releases due to lengthy lawsuit! Better production & 'slightly' more mature lyrics made for a completely revamped version of the band! All time classic of the bargain basement glam genre!

|To me,wrathchild was my personal band that nobody got into but me...but I see there are a few other twisted listeners. It so happens ,I Scored an independent self released ep called STAKK HEEL STRUT....autographed by Rocky Shades himself!

|I am still in the "giving this album a chance" phase. I don't love it, but I don't entirely dismiss it. I usually allow an album to grow on me, and while I've owned it on lp for a few years, I never really listened to it much, preferring the debut. I just recently bought it on cd, however, so as to give it more of a chance. So far, "Ring My Bell", "She'z No Angel", and "Nukklear Rokket" are my favorites. I think they were edgier than Poison, or Pretty Boy Floyd on this album, but it's hard to see this album as popular in the American psyche as albums like THEATRE OF PAIN and LOOK WHAT THE CAT DRAGGED IN were. "15 Millionaire $$" is a cool song. Has a nod to the Tubes in parts, vocally. So far, I think DELIRIUM is the album where they were really hitting their stride. To bad they broke up after that great album. Anyone wanting to get into Wrathchild should start with STAKK ATTAKK, and then go with DELIRIUM next this one should being the last choice, but I'm still honeymooning.

|See I would totally disagree. This had a much better production, maturity and catchyness to it than Stakk Attakk. It was my first Wrathchild album, and as much as I like Stakk Attakk, I dont think I would have been so eager to buy the bands other albums if that had been my first experience of the band. I would put this as the one I would recommend people to listen to first, then Delirium and Stakk Attakk (and pick up a bootleg of Trash Queens as well). Only album I would tell people to avoid is the latest one, as it isnt a Wrathchild album. The new Wildside Riot though, is certainly worth a punt.
