| Two things I have to start with is this album is not going to be everyones cup of tea on this site as it is most certainly leaning towards a more modern style, and secondly if you have heard the three singles from it, don't expect the rest to be in a different style. Those songs should have told you everything you need to know. As for me, I love this album. I think most expected a blues album from Mick, and this is not what he delivered. There is some serious chugging riffs going on and it really does work. Mick forgoes the traditional guitarist solo project by not giving into over indulgent guitar solos, but instead focuses on heavy riffs with a melodic edge. Jacob Bunton provides most of the vocals on here, and if you are familiar with his work, then you know what to expect. The only song that is different is the closing track, LA Noir which is a more blues based intrumental, which is probably what most people would expect Mick to have done. Overall this is a big fuck you to the Crue

| I'm with "CC" on this one. Definitely not an album, as he so correctly says, "the traditional guitarist solo project...(with)….over indulgent guitar solos." If Mick's name was not on the cover, I think one would be hard pressed to know the artist. IMHO, it's Mick simply displaying his love for music, and being part of a collaboration, something I find impressive. It's an album that takes a few spins to appreciate, but I like it.
