An absolute classic from the first note 'til the last. Every song is in a class of it's own, with musical performances to match. A must have of the genre

From: Dragonfly Date: December 13, 2001 at 12:16
I agree with Jez. A good rockin' release with Glenns excellent vocals tallets. Alot of classic songs to remember on this one.

From: rodrigo Date: February 4, 2002 at 11:12
This work is absoluty necesary to give...the best momento of Glen Hugghes singing and plays bass...

From: Knuckles Date: April 2, 2002 at 17:47
The song The look in your eye is a timeless masterpiece

From: Roger Date: May 12, 2002 at 10:15
If you call yourself a melodic rocker you must own this. A 80's flavoured collection of perfect songs from the beginning to the end with the best vocal performance I've ever heard on a whole record.

From: Labi Date: July 22, 2002 at 7:51
The most underrated CD ever. great songs, great performance by both Glenn and Pat.

From: 9 CHAMPIONS A 1 Date: July 26, 2002 at 10:44
The look in your eye es un temazo impresionante, pero los demas temas son una mierda impresionante.

From: nifty Date: September 6, 2002 at 18:25
2 killers...look in your eyes and first step of love...the rest of it...real ORDINARY

From: freddy de keyze Date: November 7, 2002 at 3:22
Brilliant AOR record from these giants ! A real masterpiece. I think that mr. Hughes never sounded better and more emotianal than on this record. A MUST HAVE !!!!! CLASSIC stuff !!!

From: MALLORCA´S ROCK Date: December 5, 2002 at 3:16

From: Bob M. Date: January 26, 2003 at 19:49
One of the greatest albums of all time - really! Every song a masterpiece. "Coast to Coast" possibly one of the best rock songs ever written. If you don't own this album, find a copy and get it into your collection - NOW!

From: robert Date: February 10, 2003 at 19:29
Joder con: THE LOOK INYOUR EYE!!!! q pasada!! q voz!, q regalo d Dios!!! un grandisimo tema, para un disco normalito, pero con buenos temas, y con esos 2 genios haciendo d las suyas... Teneis q oirlo!!!

From: greenmanelishi Date: February 15, 2003 at 15:23
PERO QUE GILIPOLLECES DECIIS?? COMO Q LOOK IN YOUR EYE Y LO DEMAS UNA MIERDA O ORDINARIO? VENGA HOMBRE! NO TENEIS NI PUTA IDEA!! ESTE DISCO VALE TODO REPITO TODO COMO UNA AUTENTICA Y UNICA OBRA MAESTRA. EL REGISTRO Y EL COLOR DE VOZ ES INIGUALABLE Y LOS TEMAS ESTAN MUY TRABAJADOS. HAY TEMAS MEJORES Q EL SEGUNDO PARA MI GUSTO COMO COAST TO COAST O FIRST STEP OF LOVE EN EL QUE METE UNOS GRITOS Y UN REGISTRO Q QUITA EL ALIENTO. THIS RECORD IS AN ENTIRE MUST HAVE PIECE OF TRUE-FEEL AND GOLD AOR!!!

From: perfectstranger Date: June 16, 2003 at 7:35
THIS IS THE BEST FROM GLENN AND PAT,THEY HAVE NEVER SUPASSED THIS AMAZING DISC AND NEVER WILL. WITH SONGS LIKE MUSCLE AND BLOOD,COAST TO COAST & I GOT YOUR NUMBER THIS IS CLASSIC AOR/HARD ROCK FOR SURE! THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THIS ANYMORE!!! THE SINGING IS AMAZING AND PAT'S SOLO'S ARE SIMPLY SOME OF THE FINEST HARD ROCK GUTAR EVER RECORED.SOME OF THE PRODUCTION SOUNDS A LITTLE DATED NOW, BUT THIS STUFF IS SO GOOD WHO CARES.IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS ONE, BEG BORROW AND STEAL TO GET ONE ASAP!

From: Rockpig! Date: November 14, 2003 at 20:16
Some of this release is simply stunning! I Got Your Number, Muscle & Blood, Hold Out Your Life (listen to that KILLER guitar solo!) and Glenn's Coast To Coast from his Trapeze days....Truly a classic release. I've heard demos from sessions for their unreleased second effort and they were pretty mellow. A similar comparison to Stone Fury's first two releases. The first was a rocker, the second was keyboard pop for the most part. This Debut release certainly has plenty of muscle to it! Glenn Hughe

From: Rockpig! Date: November 14, 2003 at 20:19
(Continued from above) Glenn Hughes was in top form here! This was a perfect project for Pat Thrall after he left the KICK ASS Pat Travers Band....I hated to see him leave the Travers Band, although Jerry Riggs certainly was a capable replacement!

From: AOR freaky Date: December 18, 2003 at 5:26
To all AC/DC freaks, check out this album to know how great hardrock/AOR should sound. Classic release, with the golden voice of mr. Hughes ! I'm still waiting till that second record will be released ! It's time after more than twenty years !

From: dannyrock Date: February 1, 2004 at 14:21
of course a must have for everybody.thanks

From: andreasb Date: April 9, 2004 at 16:04
JUST: BRILLIANT!!!

From: Rockhead Date: May 12, 2004 at 6:12
Classic album. Every song a winner. I also have a bootleg of songs for the aborted 2nd album. Again great!!

From: Propane Date: November 30, 2004 at 16:11
One of a kind, work of brilliance. I saw these guys years ago, great musicianship.

From: Date: December 3, 2004 at 1:31
9 champions el que es una mierda impresionante es tu desprecio por este clasico,en muchos de tus comentarios estoy de acuerdo pero en este realmente no.tampoco es que me parezca el mejor disco de la histotia pero esta muy bien. 8/10

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: February 18, 2005 at 1:33
A good work of Hughes(Great singer with a powerfull voice) and Thrall(Great in the guitars), my favs The Look in Your Eye(remember me Hughes in Phenomena), Hold Out Your Life and I Got Your Number For 1982 is well. No es una joya ni un gran album, pero tiene sus buenos temas y con una de las voces mas poderosas y compactas del AOR y Hard rock.

From: Remastered Reason Date: January 14, 2006 at 13:26
What a classic! No filler here. The early 80's production is no doubt a sign of the times but the band trumps that little drawback with a monster set of songs. Essential Listening !!!

From: aMetalhead1966 Date: February 1, 2006 at 13:26
A very solid release..it does sound a bit dated at times, but overall it's a classic...I just read that it will be remastered and there will be bonus tracks....Pat sounds killer as does Glenn...and can't forget the mighty Frankie bashin' the skins...... I can't believe this is 24 years old....10/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 21, 2007 at 11:02
Great album done by none other than Mr Hughes and the talenete Thrall!!!.Shamely this was the only album (known at least) of both artists. The songs are classic in all aspects (from the starter "I got your Number" until the last tune). If you like Aor with touches of Hard Rock then this one must be in your record collection.10/10

From: Japangea Date: June 20, 2008 at 20:07
One of best works that Hughes has belonged to.If the band had a permant drummer and either Hughes or Thrall had no ego, this band could be one of finest bands if they kept playing. One of best albums in 80's.

From: halfordhughes Date: February 27, 2011 at 10:58
this is underrated album....glenns very good aor album... I Got Your Number, The Look in Your Eye, Muscle and Blood, Coast to Coast, First Step of Love

From: hair metal again Date: June 5, 2015 at 4:40

From: rick kerch vzla Date: October 12, 2015 at 18:04
