Very poor AOR. No catchy melodies, forget it. |

Forget it? Tough Luck Oliver. This is among the BEST AOR stuff I can recall hearing. Right up there with Alias, Allies, Europe... And unlike the "popular" AOR stuff, I feel pretty happy while hearing these sort of songs... And guess what? The band's later albums are TONS better than THIS ONE! So, forget it? Naw, I'll remember this one. |

Decent Album of CCM AOR |
From: metalmaniac777 | Date: January 14, 2011 at 8:45 |
In the circles of contemporary Christian AOR, this CD is a cut above the norm. No, there's nothing here that's going to make you cry tears of joy, but you certainly won't be wailing about how woeful it is either. I'll wager that at least a few of these songs will be stuck in your head after just one or two spins thanks to some catchy hooks. The lyrics occasionally find the band straying dangerous close to cheese territory ("If you're missing God, you're missing the party") but typically stay within the boundaries of normal contemporary Christian music, meaning safe, vanilla-flavored songs about living a life of faith. Bottom line, what we've got here is a well-produced, very melodic CCM AOR offering that won't rock your world, but is pretty solid stuff within its narrow genre. |

Pretty decent CCM band & album...good songs backed up with a good vocalist(Jean Luc Lajoie)...in agreement in some of his statements with metalmaniac777...my favourite cuts are "Let's Stand Together","I'll Find You There","Missing The Party" & "Letter Of Love"...83/100 |
