The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Survivor CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Survivor are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Excellent live album recorded in Tokyo in 1985. Basically a best of..and the quality of the recording is good, although like with all the other extended versions albums, the packaging is crap. Seeing as there isn't another Survivor live album out, this will have to do. |

I agree Jez, the packaging is pretty dire, but who cares. This was recorded when the band were at the height of their creative powers, and it's a pleasure to hear Jimi Jamison wrap his mighty larynx around "High on you" et al. Not a filler in sight. My only complaint is that they could have added at least a half a dozen other Survivor standards, "I can't hold back", "Poor man's son etc"... Also why the hell has it taken so long to release a live album? |

This live album sounds very very good. All classic SURVIVOR and HARD ROCK/HARD AOR songs. Very good selection of songs and that make this again a buy or die release. |

Great live album! Especially good to hear Jimi singing 'Eye of The Tiger' and 'Caught In The Game'. Recommended for Survivor fans. |

Superb live performance by Survivor with Jimi Jamison. The version of Eye of the Tiger is even better than the studio version with a great outro solo by Sullivan. |

I have the Dvd bootlegs 'Live in Japan 1985' and '1986'. |
From: titothetitan | Date: September 17, 2018 at 12:56 |
There's two additional songs in the CD/Dvd bootleg: 'It's The Singer, Not The Song' and 'I Can't Hold Back'. |
From: titothetitan | Date: April 9, 2019 at 10:43 |
The CD was actually released in Japan in 2009, with better cover art and the two additional songs. |
