the heavier album of BANG TANGO (one of my favorites 'L.A.scene' BANDZ);when you're angry at someone, just listen to 'DON'T COUNT ME OUT'ure RAGE,it would wake up a dead! This is not REALLY a glam album, much more agressive than 'poppy';but still kick-ass rock n'roll!

From: Date: October 31, 2001 at 12:28
This was a kick ass cd!!!I agree with FABIEN, 'Don't Count Me Out' was a real cool tune! 'A Thousand Goodbyes' reminds me of Peter Criss...the vocals.

From: Altay Date: May 22, 2002 at 15:23
i can say that i'm disappointed with it. maybe ý did expect more than they can give.it's not too bad anyway.first track is my fave.

From: fretboardfrenzy Date: September 12, 2002 at 22:44

From: Kristian Date: May 1, 2003 at 21:15
I hate this album, I think it's alternative crap music. Dancin' on Coals are their best album, in my humble opinion.

From: John Date: June 12, 2003 at 15:45
Criminally underrated. Rocks balls out on every track excepting the last ballad.

From: Lumberjack Date: December 2, 2003 at 5:58
Dancin' On Coals was their best CD.

From: pooch Date: February 2, 2004 at 18:38
Why do they continually recreate the songs from Psycho Cafe and Dancin' on Coals, but never from this album. I saw Bang Tango earlier this year and none of the songs they played were from love after death.

From: Dean Date: February 7, 2004 at 20:38
Never even knew this one existed but if it's heavier I'll probably love it just as much as the first two. Now i just gotta find the damn thing.

From: Stevie St Ford Date: June 8, 2004 at 11:33
This album is far and away their most consistent release, adopting a much harder sound and ditching some of the funk tendencies of their earlier releases! Choice Cuts: Don't Count Me Out, My Favourite 9, So Obsessed. Also check out The Beautiful Creatures.

From: Rockhead Date: June 18, 2004 at 5:41
Well duh..thanks for the info St Ford, like we didn't know about the Beautiful Creatures! This album is great though, shame more people didn't check it out...10/10!!!! As for you St Ford, you may think you're a cutting edge rocker but frankly 'the Junkyard Angels smoke c**k!'

From: Rockhead Date: June 18, 2004 at 8:27
Hey buddy-use your own monicker and leave mine alone!!

From: Rockhead Date: June 18, 2004 at 11:10
Hey whadda mean I'm the real Rockhead....And to prove it I'm gonna name every track on Michael Bolton's hard rock classic debut!! I also rank the Soul Provider album up with Slayer's Reign in blood!

From: Rockhead Date: June 18, 2004 at 13:31
HA HA HA- However your rouse is foiled. I only like MB up to The Hunger and as for Slayer-maybe you should become Jack (LOL)

From: Rockhead Date: June 18, 2004 at 13:38
You could go 1 better oh dark imposter and name all the musicians that took part on MB's 1st Cd. Over to you.....

From: Rockhead Date: June 21, 2004 at 7:56
Listen, whilst most people who have 'Bolton-ized' consider him to be the Anti-Christ I love the saxophone duo of David Sandborn & Dennis Morouse....although personally I would have used Kenny G, who funnily enuff I also love....especially when I'm entertaining a young lady or even a young gentlemen...if you know what I mean!!!

From: Slik Vicc Date: June 21, 2004 at 8:23
Love Bang Tango...Love this album!!! I got quite panned in the music press but who gives a F**k. So good it hurts!!!!

From: Slikk Vicc Date: June 21, 2004 at 8:25
err...I mean it did!

From: Rockhead Date: June 21, 2004 at 8:53
LOL-SLIK, ROCKHEAD- You are my Moriarty, my nemesis!! Not sure about kenny G? Although he does/ Did have that 80's shaggy perm/ mullet thing going on. When are you going to reveal your true self and stop hiding behind these charades? Come out of the shadows so that I may exorcise my demons.

From: Rockhead Date: June 21, 2004 at 8:54
Can't say I have heard this-although I loved the debut and i liked most of Dancin' on Coals. Does this sound like those or did the line-up changes alter the sound?

From: MJ (Marla) Date: June 21, 2004 at 8:59
lol..Hey Rockhead...they say 'imitation is the best compliment' or....something like that!! Now.......will the real Rockhead please stand up??? Just kidding....look at the IP numbers....we KNOW which one is YOU!!! LOL!!! ON TOPIC.....I LOVE Bang Tango....but 'Dancin' On Coals' just had something SPECIAL to me....that nothing else BT ever did could come close to....

From: Rockhead Date: June 21, 2004 at 10:23
Hey MJ you have adoppleganger too!!! LOL I did wonder in terms of sound whether the band went like Beautiful Creatures on this Cd of Whether they kept that classic early sound? Here's to all of us!!

From: AOR-MESSIAH Date: October 21, 2004 at 19:53
Love It, Love It, Love It. Kick Ass Rock 'N' Roll the way it should be played. It took some time to grow on me but it's worth the wait one of my all time favourites. Great Band, Great Album!

From: RattnRoll Date: December 13, 2005 at 5:45
I always wondered how the singer of Bang Tango could evolve into the singer of Beautiful Creatures, but this album was the missing link, it's basically a runner-up for Beautiful Creatures.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: May 26, 2007 at 12:05
Good album but still not as good as "Ready To Go".The tracks are typical and characteristic of the band (glam and in some parts with a little touch of funk rock).Anyway, a band that prevails through the time.7/10

From: MetalPete1031 Date: January 2, 2013 at 7:26
This album is essential to any true hard rocker. An absolute classic, and very likely Bang Tango's crowning achievement, IMO far surpassing even 'Psycho Cafe'. The energy and emotion, not to mention stellar musicianship on this slab are everything a metalhead can hope for. If you need to hear a sample, look up "Don't Count Me Out", "So Obsessed", "Gonna Make You Feel", "New Generation" or "The Hell I gave". If you want to hear the best ballad they ever recorded, look up "Crazy". If you can find it, BUY IT. 100/100.
